He'd be mad to 'settle' for L1 right now, let alone the Spireites in L2. He can wait until after the transfer window and pick a decent deal. He'll be warming a bench somewhere decent - maybe the Premier League again, or at least the Champ or Scotland.

I don't understand the hate for him. All players form goes up and down but he was good for us more times than not and outstanding in Billy's first spell with us.

Allow me to explain.
A Premier League club (Swansea) were rumoured to be after him, but they didn't make a bid which was high enough for our first choice goalkeeper. Camp decided to almost overnight discard all the support and adulation we had shown him over the years and quite noticeably allow his mardiness to affect his form, right up until the day Alex McLeish did the one good thing he did in his brief reign, and replace Camp with Darlow.
Chris Gunter, who was also subject of much Premiership admiration for example, always gave 100% right up until he left and always said he would never actively try to get a move, despite the fact Forest were now languishing at the bottom - and you could see in his performances he was true to his word. That's why he went to Reading with my blessing and Camp has destroyed his reputation with Forest fans.
