He was fined for arriving late to training during pre-season, a less than ideal start, so when a flight back to England was cancelled in August and he was late a second time he garnered little sympathy. On a third occasion, he had muted the club’s busy WhatsApp chat due to a late-night bombardment of messages, often in French, only to miss a memo in the group advising that training the next day had been brought forward at short notice.
Alas-I saw him keep goal at White Hart Lane in a 6-1 defeat in 1971.Regarding goal keepers I still have flashbacks and wake up in a cold sweat whenever anyone mentions the name Eric Hulme.
Thankfully it was what seems like hundreds of years ago, so the actual odds of someone else being able to remember him is quite slim .
Forest have been blessed with a good number of decent keepers over the years.Regarding goal keepers I still have flashbacks and wake up in a cold sweat whenever anyone mentions the name Eric Hulme.

Your lad might have been the better shout in goal.Lad had a picture with muric before his debut. Put it on our WhatsApp group - son with next Man City keeper.
Aged well!
I remember Eric came from Spennymoor. He was Jim Barron’s back up.Regarding goal keepers I still have flashbacks and wake up in a cold sweat whenever anyone mentions the name Eric Hulme.

I got a feeling we are one of those teams from England
Yeah it's between if he is money driven now he is coming to the end of his career or wants to keep pushing himself, if it is us that's after him maybe he enjoyed Nottingham and would want to come back instead of moving to somewhere that he doesn't knowI'd have thought so. Interesting with Navas - he strikes me as someone who wants to compete for as long as possible - remember reading about him favouribly a late career move to Mexico for reasons along those lines. Whether Saudi offers him the level of competition, or if that is offset by the level of cash he'd get, remains to be seen...
Same to be honest if he wants to make some money at the end of his incredible career I wouldn't blame him, I'm just glad we got to see him play for ForestI wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to be a coconut shy at this stage of his career and wanted to relax in the sun in Saudi.

I'd love that tbh, though can't imagine both would be an option - neither would come to bench warm.So after all this is it going to be Navas and Henderson
I wonder - I think it comes down to whether we can get the deal over the line with United and also land our B keeper. The ideal scenario would be Navas on 6-month loan, then decide on Henderson in January (based on fitness and United's fee demands).
