Is the Steve Cooper appointment the best investment in the history of the world?

Genuine question. Obviously there'll be some lucky bugger who bought a Euromillions ticket and won the jackpot, but ignoring those.

1) Bitcoin: ROI of 11,000% in the last seven years.
2) GameStop short squeeze: 2,000% ROI in a month if you timed entry and exit points perfectly.
3) Peter Thiels angel investment in FB when it was a Harvard thing: 20,000% ROI in 7 years.
4) Google's series B investors made a 30,000% ROI in 5 years when Google went to IPO.
5) Spotify's angel investors made an 80,000% ROI in ten years.

Anything else?

Steve Cooper's appointment at Nottingham Forest has turned 500k into 170m minimum. An ROI of 17,000% in 9 months.

Bill Gates fished an unfinished operating system out of a skip (literally) and turned it in to Microsoft.

Oh and Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak built the first Apple computer in Jobs‘ parents‘ garage, and the company they founded became quite successful, I’ve heard?

you should say that the appointment of dane murphy turned it around , without murphy, we probably end up with some haplesss appointment like nigel clough or some old has been like tony pullis.

I guess a lot of other recent Champ promotion managers are comparable too. Bielsa. Smith.

I think Bielsa was on about £180k a week in the Championship or something daft.

Still worth it though!
