Haha is this his agent attempt at... Last chance, he’ll sign with Forest. He really will. Better bid now, like seriously Champions League teams. He’s picking up the pen...
It would be an incredible signing for sure. I'm not getting my hopes up until someone like Fabrizio Romano or Florian Plettenberg says its happening though.I still can't believe we're on the verge of signing this lad...
Linked with £40/50m moves to Champions League teams in the last couple of summer windows, is capped for France in an era when France are dominant on the international scene & can pick from a pool of about 20 world class midfielders and has only just turned 24, it's beyond crazy. Think it was said earlier in the thread you wouldn't even be able to make this signing on Football Manager for a newly promoted side to the Premier League, it's that unreal.

Yeah I expect Yates to do what’s necessary to get on the field, but equally it wouldn’t be completely insane for him to have a task on his hands making the bench.Because's he's injured Yates will have a battle on his hands to get back in the team with all these midfielders we're bringing in but I expect no less from him than to step up.
Well let's stay calm for now like Ashley says, nobody who is mega reliable has said it yet. We want Percy or Romano or someone like that to confirm it. Although Galetti does have a decent strike rate with usYou’re getting me excited HP.
I was previously unaware of this lad Josh, so your informed endorsement is hugely encouraging.I still can't believe we're on the verge of signing this lad...

An even greater endorsement:I was previously unaware of this lad Josh, so your informed endorsement is hugely encouraging.
Yes, that seems like overkill and that there would be some unhappy signings not even in the squad.Yeah I expect Yates to do what’s necessary to get on the field, but equally it wouldn’t be completely insane for him to have a task on his hands making the bench.
Realistically 5 CMs make the 20 and we’d have 7 in Mangala, O’Brien, Aouar, Freuler, Kouyate, Yates, Colback to choose from.
As you say, a good read. If this lad can see Lingard's runs he could prove to be invaluable. An even greater endorsement:
Pep Guardiola: "Houssem Aouar is a very good player. He is incredible. He's always very calm with the ball at his feet, with an excellent technical quality."
Pep knows his stuff when it comes to technical midfielders too!
This is a good, recent article I read today about why he's available for the cut price he's at this summer (outside of the fact he has one year left) has a lot of detail about the type of player he is and how he's evolved over the past few seasons.

Just got to keep fingers crossed that we can get it over the line in the next few days.
Aouar isn’t really a CM, he’s a #10 that can drop in.Yeah I expect Yates to do what’s necessary to get on the field, but equally it wouldn’t be completely insane for him to have a task on his hands making the bench.

He also switched agents in January to the agency we have done loads of business with - Niakhate, Henderson, Richards. MGW also but Wolves we’re the stumbling block there. An even greater endorsement:

Yeah mentioned that when he was first linked, no doubt helped us out.He also switched agents in January to the agency we have done loads of business with - Niakhate, Henderson, Richards. MGW also but Wolves we’re the stumbling block there.
Against the best team in the world
Tackling, drawing fouls, starting counter attacks, tracking back, really zippy passing and movement
Yeah very true. I meant more than I would guess we’ll have 3 forwards on the bench (Dennis, Maupay, Surridge), 1 GK (Hennessy), and 2 defenders (Cook, Biancone). Which leaves 3 midfield spots, so 2 from the 7 CM/CAMs don’t make the cutAouar isn’t really a CM, he’s a #10 that can drop in.
On the button! I actually typed in Franzie Carr, but deleted it.Franzie Carr!
I'd be more surprised if that didn't happen to be honest. Just doesn't feel likely.I’m not sure why but I get the feeling that we will be pipped by a bigger club right at the death.
