The reaction on twitter etc has been entitled, and also talking about season ticket holders like they aren’t even fans of Forest.

I am lucky as I went to most grounds when we were last in the Premier League. There are a few that I'd like to do still. (the new Tottenham, West Ham etc) so I've paid my money to enter the great away ticket raffle. I may get all, some or none.
I'm still curious to why the club offered loyalty to a certain small section of fans but not to others. And if you want to see what entitlement looks like, you ought to see some of the tweets from the so called "400 club". Just embarrassing.

I've tended to go to 2-3 away matches each season with Forest, trying to take in grounds I've not been to before and have never not been able to get a ticket to a game I wanted to go to until after Christmas. Last season I only went to QPR, I'd pencilled in Millwall but as I had no confidence that the game would go ahead and been to the Den twice I wasn't that fussed about not going, and after that there was little to no chance (Blackpool and Preston midweek maybe the only ones).

I'd resigned myself to not being able to get away tickets now so I'm glad they've not made it a complete closed shop and there's a chance, although I'm undecided whether I will actually buy it. I wouldn't likely be trying to go to any more matches than usual, it sort of feels a waste to get it when I'd only likely use it for the minimum matches, but also like I should because it's unlikely I'd be able to get to an away match again for quite some time if I don't.

If you make it too much of a closed shop you just end up like some of the bigger teams where it's virtually impossible to get in as the same 3,000 people get tickets for every game even if they don't go themselves. I've got a couple of mates who've probably been to 40-50 Arsenal away matches but never in their own name, they happen to know people who can get away tickets but only go to about 6 a season, but buy for every game knowing they can sell on any they don't go to.

I probably go to as many England away games as I do Forest, and the general rule for England tickets where the applications are greater than the tickets available, is that 70% of tickets are given to the applicants with the highest number of points (2 awarded per game, home or away, nothing for tournament games) and the rest is balloted. I've always thought that was fair and something like that for clubs would both reward the loyalty of fans that go to most games as well as still make it open enough for other people to attend matches.

Having read all the comments on this I can see an argument for almost every side. My personal circumstances and living in Yorkshire mean it's impossible for me to attend every game, that doesn't make me any less loyal and therefore shouldn't be excluded, but I also understand that others who can attend games feel they should be rewarded.

The common denominator is someone has to miss out and it's an impossible situation for the club, and someone is always going to feel pushed out.

There is no easy answer to this is there?!?! There is literally nothing we could do to please everyone except be shit and less demand. At the end of the day we just need loyalty points but the big elephant in the room is our ground is too small. Unless we sort that out there will be disgruntlement. I haven’t been to games since pre covid i don’t expect I should be first in the queue for any game but I would love to build some loyalty points up but I won’t be able to do that until the stadium gets expanded. It is what it is that’s the price of success. I’m just hoping we can stay in the prem for a sustained period and get that expansion through.

So for today's membership sale is it just a case if signing into my ticketing account and waiting to get through to the main purchasing screen?
Or is there a specialist link?

I think, that is it. Sign into your ticketing account (which will redirect to eticketing.co.uk) and then - presumably - a new link will appear (the website currently shows just tickets for NFFC women and „Forest on the Road“.

Well, you’ve got to have confidence that if there is any way at all possible to make a complete Horlicks of it, Forest will find a way!

Yeah last week the online queue looked quite scary but soon went down. Seems the system can handle many hundreds of sessions at the same time

Regarding home membership does anyone know whether you can buy a couple of tickets on one membership or would you have to assign the second ticket to someone else who also has home membership?

I've decided to go with the full platinum disappointment package.

✅️ Nervous anticipation for measly amounts of tickets going on sale in the daya before games.

✅️ limited chance for away games.

✅️ watch on the telly, beer in hand

Queue on site will be up and over Trent Bridge in an hour or so. A lot are going to be disappointed I expect.

Queue is over 5,500 already, fifteen minutes before kick-off.

There is going to be an awful lot of disappointment later today.

They've disappeared from pre sale online. Take it they've sold out

I don't think they're on sale just yet, but perhaps they removed the option because the queue is so over-populated.
