Stefano Toffolo does sound a bit Brazilian TBF.
If he had the technical skills of our Brazilians (past and present - I'm thinking Lodi here) he'd be good enough. That's the part of his game that I feel let's him down and as a result slows is down. He's improved in that regard too, but not to the point we need. (And I'm ignoring the defensive side of his game which while there are issues are just about passable.)He's decent. If he was Brazilian folk would be jizzing about him on here. Instead he's called Harry Toffolo and used to play for Huddersfield so folk reckon he isn't good enough![]()
Even if the club outgrows them, extending their contracts means we can sell them for decent fees rather than letting them leave for nothing.Probably an unpopular view but personally thinkToffolo and Worrall's contract extensions were sentimental decisions. Giving Yates another 4 years is again due to similar reasons being the only academy player left in the squad. He will always be a squad player at best if the trajectory of the owner's ambition is going to be realised.
I thought this was quite interesting, tells you how long each player takes before they make a pass & Toff is slowest. If he had the technical skills of our Brazilians (past and present - I'm thinking Lodi here) he'd be good enough. Nothing against the bloke, just my opinion and YMMV.
Struggling to get suiters for Worrall at the fee required though. Toffs might fetch 2m at a stretch but who knows. Have the championship clubs had any significant purchases from the Premier league so far, not looked.Even if the club outgrows them, extending their contracts means we can sell them for decent fees rather than letting them leave for nothing.

I think being a decent bloke has helped him out with the fans - he can whip a decent ball in and puts in a shift too so there's that.I thought this was quite interesting, tells you how long each player takes before they make a pass & Toff is slowest.

I agree with @JonnoSnr, he is just about to the standard to be a squad player, I don't think it's because he's not a glamorous name that people are saying we can do better.
If anything because he's not - he has probably got a lot more support from the supporters. He always gets songs sung for him.
I'd have said keeping Worrall is an option if we didn't sign another central defender but he's not seemed like he's a part of the team at all, I can't understand what has gone on there. If you went back a year, he'd be front and centre, Mr. Forest. Now, he gets the Hwang treatment.Struggling to get suiters for Worrall at the fee required though. Would have thought Dennis, Worrall, Toffs, Bowler etc could do a decent job at that level. Maybe PSR is screwing everyone over throughout the land.

About as useful as xG when centre backs and centre mids can pass it between themselves with relative ease and full backs (all 3 in a similar area) often get closed down and have much narrower corridors to play it through.
Thought him and Anderson linked up really well when they came on.
If nothing else it allows comparison with the other players in his position, hence why I would have liked to have seen Tavares in there.Yeah I don't know what this graphic is trying to represent but the time taken to pass is naturally going to be different by player role and position.
Elanga is 'slower to pass it after receiving it' because he runs with the ball more than any other player. Wood is less accurate because half of that is related to balls fired at him which he's trying to lay off with a one touch pass and go. Every CB bar Murillo are almost identical to each other as they pass the ball around the back, whereas Murillo has license to carry it.
Toffolo is 'slow" because he's a wide player who have more time on the ball and he runs with it a lot on the overlap.
These are stats for stats sake, its useless data.
I met him last year at the East Bridgford Garden Centre.
Love Harry. Probably his last season with us as he's just not getting the minutes. However he's such an excellent ambassador for the club.
Give him the job as Head of Media or something.

A very normal person.
He will do well back in the Championship when he is loaned out or sold.
