Couldn't agree more.
It's very easy for us all to look at it from the outside and judge, but we are all humans with feelings and we have no idea what's going on with Harry Arter.
Today Davy Propper retired from football at the age of 30 as he stated he'd 'fallen out of love with the game'. A fantastic footballer who thrived at PSV and had also done well on the international stage.
Robert Enke (the former Germany goalkeeper) committed suicide in 2009 as he struggled to get over the loss of his daughter in 2006.
As much as we are passionate about having committed and high performing players for the club that we love, I think we need to be very careful here because the loss of a child is incomprehensible.
Exactly, just because someone is well paid doesn’t mean they don’t have human feelings and emotions. If I lost my child my work would matter even less than it does now to me. Actually it would matter zero. Why would a footballer be any different?
