Has he ever played CB? I thought Chema's best asset was his passing from deep, this lad doesn't seem that type.

We have seen how predictable we were when attacking without a proper mobile left-back who is comfortable on the ball in Yuri. Defensively we struggled too because opposition right-sides could play higher up the pitch not worrying about us getting in behind.

It had to be done.

They chose not to look for the long-term option which I am fine with because we could be in a totally different market in a few months. He should be capable of getting a job done when required.

No idea.

But I suspect he'd be a better centre back than Ribeiro, Cash or Jenkinson just due to height. He'd be 5th choice centre back, so it would very much be in the realms of emergency requirement.

Opinions a little bit indifferent but mostly positive from Brighton fans regarding him, nice quote below about us sadly not the player, fine for back up, I hope we don't need him either.

I hope people won’t be too negative about him.

He is a big lad, very quick and a decent defender. Also he can get forward at pace.

His crossing leaves a lot to be desired, but he is only a backup after all and may not be used that much.

Anyway, we can judge for ourselves if, and when, he gets on to the pitch.

Read somewhere that George was a sub for Bong at Cameroon. So maybe it's okay to get the 1st choice after we had the sub.
