Forest 5-A-Side Team

Thread is about, if you had to put together a five-a-side team to go play a game on the astroturf, from current Forest players, who would you pick and why?
You need to pick a goalie and four outfield players. Formation is up to you.

Are you going for pure skiller? Are you going for demolition, sundayleague type football?

Bare in mind, a 5-a-side pitch is about half the size of a 11-a-side pitch.

For me;
  • GK: Hennessey - While he's about as mobile as the statue of liberty these days, that 6 foot 6 frame would cover most of the goal and especially make those one step penalties difficult.
  • DF: Felipe - Crazy flexible, still pretty fast and can play out with his feet.
  • MF: Danilo - He'd be busting out the skills all over the place.
  • MF: Mangala - Against, that low centre of gravity and he has a few skills as well.
  • FW: Morgan Gibbs White - His shooting isn't his best attribute but honestly, he's got the ball skills where he can just dance the ball in.
Alternatively if we're going for a demolition job.
  • GK: Hennessey
  • DF: McKenna
  • MF: Yates
  • MF: Shelvey
  • FW: Awoniyi
I don't know if they're winning many games, but they'd take a piece of the opposition with them.

DF: Aina - Quick enough to go forward and join the attack without being defensively irresponsible.
 DF: Felipe - Solid, quick will chip in with a few goals.
MF: Danilo - Tricks for days eye for goal and will link up well with...
FW: MGW - Will get in all the right places for the tap ins 5 a side needs.

 Sub: Yates - Will play anywhere and give it his all!

MGW would be a fantastic 5-a-side player. And Joe Worrall looks surprisingly good at that keepball game in the small box they do during pre-game warmups.

And Dennis can be that guy who always turns up 5 mins late moaning about the traffic.

Speaking of 5 a side, Kelvin Wilson would occasionally play at Power League with his mates post retirement and he looked like Messi.

You couldn’t get the ball off of him and he basically just walked past players, if anyone was in any doubt how much better a pro is compared to the average Joe he showed you the difference in levels if you were unfortunate enough to play against him.
