FA Youth Cup Final v Manchester United

After my somewhat knee jerk reaction immediately after the game, looking at it from a bit more distance I think it was a really good performance.

Didn't realise the lads were so young and to give a team like ManU a game as tight as that was excellent both from the youngsters and the staff at the academy. After all, these 'big' clubs just hoover up talent and cheerfully discard those they don't want.

Shame they couldn't cap the display with a win, but well played the youngsters.

The future at the academy is really bright.

It will be really interesting to follow those two squads and see how many of the Forest lads have decent careers vs the Man U lads. We've had the debate before on here but I still think (despite the limited facts that have been presented to the contrary) that if I were a young player I'd want to be at a club like Forest not Manure because there will be more opportunities.

I never knew Pharrell Johnson was the former Derby players Michael Johnson's son.

He's still club ambassador in Mordor so surprised he is with us.
Clearly shows which club has the better academy then. We have a clear route to the first team, whereas Derby (until recently) haven't and have opted for spending money on shit.
