Barnes didn't live up to his club form I know, but he was the best player in England when I was getting into football. I didn't like that Liverpool side that was winning everything, but you couldn't not like Barnes. And more to the point, if I don't pick him who is going to do the rap?

Waddle was a brilliant footballer. I was watching him knock out Milan in the European Cup semi final from the comfort of my man cave the other day. The AC Milan that is the best club side of all time. I also like him on the radio which goes a long way. I like a headband, but that wasn't enough to get Butcher a place in my team.

It's because too many teams qualify. There used to be 8 at the Euro finals, now there's 24.
God knows how the Dutch missed two consecutive major tournaments. Even the Germans will qualify easily.

There should probably be some sort of pre-qualifying to eliminate these total no-hoper types prior to the actual qualifying though. Notts County would put up a better fight than this lot.
