If he isn’t it won’t be through lack of ambition. It’ll be the fact that he’s playing for his hometown team who are top six in one of the best leagues in Europe and playing in European competition. A lot of players in that situation would want to stay and fight to get in the team they supported as a kid over moving abroad to a team further down a slightly better league. It wouldn’t be like the rejection by Gimenez, which just makes no logical sense.
Forest just need to get a mooove on, before someone else makes a bid.
