The thing is we barely did anything wrong, we breached ffp because we sold Brennan Johnson in a different accounting period as it was better for us by £17m. For this we received an excessive punishment of a 4 point deduction.

Pales into insignificance when compared to the shenanigans that that bunch of scrubbers got up to under MM.

Anyway who gives a f*** because we're in the PL and chasing European qualification whilst the sheepshaggers are slugging it out at the arse end of the second division 🤣

It’s annoying because we have been proved right but nobody acknowledges it. We all knew we needed to upgrade the squad as the squad value was a tenth of everyone else in the division, including the two parachute teams we came up with.

Some of it worked, some of it didn’t. We have got better at it. But the media and other fans have purposely misunderstood it so the big spending / chaotic Nottm Forest tag has stuck.

We have clearly learned a few lessons and our recruitment after the first year has been up there with Brighton. Even from the first year we made big money on mangala, Niakhate, MGW worth has doubled, maybe trebled, Danilo has doubled, Neco has at least edged up a bit in the end, other players paid their dues and have been worth the outlay in transfer or wages. Taiwo, Navas, Felipe, Aurier, Boly kept us up. Wood has turned out to be amazing value.

Murillo, Aina, milenkovic, Anderson, Dominguez, Elanga, CHO, Morato, Jota, Sels have been incredible signings.

Yet we are now called cheats by some because of what? The rules are there to keep teams down and are called sustainability rules yet wanted us to sell a home grown player for £15m less than he is worth🤦

I don't think people care about as breaching FFP by a small amount.

What they got flustered about was newly-promoted and 22-year-and-counting shitcunts Forest spunking £200m and landing players like Henderson, Navas, Lodi, Lingard, Aurier etc.

Forest weren't meant to have enough of a reputation to land those players. We were meant to come up and be fodder for the top clubs like every other promoted club. That we didn't act in that way grated on both the top clubs ("who are these pretenders?") as well as our relegation rivals ("they can't do that! That will make it more likely we go down!").

That's the reason the media was so dismissive to Forest as well, they were upset that focus was diverted even slightly away from their Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea love in.

That's always been my take on it, yes we breached because of the timing of an FFP deadline, but we did this in insuring we got the best price for Johnson, thereby doing exactly what FFP is supposed to be trying to achieve. Cheating would have been not to have sold Johnson, completely ignore FFP and keep spending without selling.

It's not like we cooked the books and stopped filing accounts or anything to hide what we were up to is it?!!

I actually miss those times was hilarious get home from work grab a coffee and read what the deluded twats were writing on there forum laughing at them tracking flight radar for the imminent arrival of the kitch (or private pile as i liked to call him) to save them 🤣🤣

f*** i wish he'd managed to blag buying them would of been comedy gold

They are just boring nowadays. I miss the Erik Alonso, Quantuma and Chris Kirchner eras. It was better than any sitcom!
