Far too late for any new club to enter next season anywhere. What time of year did Rangers go pop then start up again with the newco?
Just had a thought that it's going to be too late for them even to do that and play next season in whichever level of the pyramid.

Rangers started the liquidation process at the start of June I think after about 4 months in admin after being unable to agree a CVA. The goodwill was then brought and transferred to Rangers Sevco (or whatever it was called) the new company applied to transfer their membership of the SPL across to the newco but failed and so were then placed in the lowest Scottish division (4th?) but none of the players agreed to carry their contracts over to the new club so left. What time of year did Rangers go pop then start up again with the newco?

I remember working up in Glasgow a few years back. Rangers were playing at Queen of the South in the Challenge Cup while Celtic hosted Benfica in the Champions League. Parity was always soon to be restored but that's Scotland with the big 2 teams. Down here it'll take Derby so much longer to recover.Rangers started the liquidation process at the start of June I think after about 4 months in admin after being unable to agree a CVA. Now insolvency laws in Scotland are a bit different than in England if I remember from my old days in Finance.
It was a mess but I think pales into comparison with what DCFC face as they had all the pieces in place already to just go again as they owned their ground for example and it all came with the club ready to go and they were a massive draw still.
Contracted Derby players seek legal advice
At least two of Derby's seven senior players are taking legal advice over whether they can end their contracts when the club is sold.www.bbc.co.uk
