A decent read as ever.

You could add Jack Hobbs to the list of crocks though.

Whomever wrote that article is a moron. An oxy moron in fact.

It's written as if the guy moved here from some tinpot seaside resort aged 14 and took us up

We were born here we have no choice, we have no opinion nor list or desires. Cameron saw to those

Pretty standard writing by someone who is probably five years younger than they think they are who hasn't yet discovered you can't win every game.

My next door neighbour is a "big" Manchester Utd fan who's never been to Old Trafford. It's the sort of piece he would write just now.

Is it about my cube?
i'm bloody sick of this "forest bottled it" every time we lose. it's reductionist, misleading and smacks of a lack of understanding of football.

Good read........except for the misinformed claim that Vaughan was injured when we signed him.

He fractured his knee-cap at Gresham Close.

Very good read again only thing I disagree with is last sentence I will donate my derby flag to you if forest pick 12 points up from the next four games, games against teams we always struggle against

Left Brian loved Forest more when I wrote it. :nowink:

You can't win every game, but you can - and should - win against a Sheffield United side struggling in League One, which is about as far as the article goes in terms of saying what we should have done. There was a similar article on LTLF a few weeks ago and the aptly named 'Pharkin Khuntz' went into a rant about the "same old worn out crap based on unrealistic expectations". Beating Sheffield United isn't an unrealistic expectation. Rich (and Tony) looking for reasons for why Forest have lost some games recently, whether it be fear or injuries or whatever, isn't the same as thinking we have to win each game to keep the "the idiot internet generation" happy. Are Forest's failings not worth analysing any more? Should we just ignore it for fear of being accused of having 'unrealistic expectations'? That's kind of defeatist, don't you think?

Cotterill sometimes burdens himself with unrealistic expectations, but that is only because...

There have been cup upsets since the dawn of the cup itself. Teams at the bottom of the league regularly beat teams at the top of the league. Are they all bottlers?

Every time we lose a game we get this navel gazing. It happens.

Not all upsets come from teams being a goal up, though. It felt to me that the draw didn't help us. Obviously that's merely my opinion, though.

The way they dropped the picture and their timing when cutting him off deserves credit.

It is as if the talent contest judges have called "NEXT!", he has been forcibly removed from the stage and as he is disappearing from view from behind the curtain you hear him shout..."I'M A WIINNNNNNNEEEEEER!"

Do you think today was a gutsy performance?
