Needs targets on the chart as well (35 for avoiding relegation, 50 for top half) please so we can see how close or far away we are trajectory wise from meeting our goals.

I dont believe 35 points will make any team "safe" this season.
As to smoothing - these are absolute results on a cumulative basis so shouldn't be subject to smoothing.
As for Axis labels - I would have thought the axis were fairly self-evident, thikkoes
And I don't know how to animate it to have a red squirrel run up and down the lines.
Where is Bonfy when one needs IT advice?

When I was a working accountant, I never put much trust in graphs.
By manipulating the scales, changing the start point for the data set, and various other "marketing director" wheezes a graph can show whatever you want it to.
But it can't show a Red Squirrel running up and down the lines!
