People come out of the woodwork for all finals, we all know that.
It's a Saturday game so I will be there, just means a lot of planning and marking on the Friday night and the Sunday. :)

I said it in the other thread but i tend to disagree with this. Yes selling out at home probably wasn't great, but considering they average around 2,000 a home game i think taking 900-1000 fans (half the average home gate) 100 odd miles away on a Monday night for a game that is also on Sky is a pretty solid turn out if you ask me.

But as i said after the last game somewhere - numbers are immaterial at the end of the day, we could argue them till we are blue in the face. Difficult to tell sat in the middle of them, but i think accoustically they were spot on!

Poor support (compared to our support and other clubs in the division but yes, they are bigger clubs) as they are a small club I guess. To be expected. Like I said before, we could have had 2182 fans there (away fans included!) for all I care. Nothing goes on attendances (same goes for Stevenage, they have had a fab season!) as we all know.

Always going to lose in the play offs.

Nice to know it has amused you, bless. I do believe it took you more than a season to get out of League 1 and I know it did for Wednesday and Leeds along with Charlton and a few others. 90 points is still a great achievement and IF we keep our squad together, we will be top 2 next season in a much poorer league than it has been this year. :)

Ched Evans has been released by Sheffield United, along with goalkeeper Steve Simonsen who missed the crucial penalty in the playoff final.

I honestly don't think it's that simple mate, Sheff U look toothless currently and unless you get a goalscorer in then I think it'll be top 6 at best again.

If you wanna take Miller, Derbyshire or both off us you can have them though - we won't even charge you a fee we're that nice! :)

Good riddance to both of them but especially Evans.

Simmo was OK for us overall but cost us points in the first half of the season with stupid mistakes.
He should never have been in a position where he had to take a penalty to be fair.

I think if we have a good clear out and bring some more youngsters through, we have a good chance of finishing top 6 at least. I never thought we would be even top 6 nevermind getting 90 points, 3 off second place this time last year so who knows.
