I'll schedule it in my calendar for a conditional date just after we establish ourselves as a Premier League Quality club on and off the pitch.Maybe we can arrange a 'Marinakis Day'......?

Me. And only me.He isn't perfect, but who is?
Tell me, which discussions on here about Forest actually make a difference?I mean, fans are gonna chant what they want, when they want regardless of whether other fans have decided it’s not helpful, counter-productive or whatever, so discussing it here is not going to have any effect.
I had a moan about the tiny size of the font on the big screens earlier this season and at the next match they had increased it so that is was actually readable.Tell me, which discussions on here about Forest actually make a difference?
There is still no water in the Upper Trent End bogs by half-time.
Erm...umm...Tell me, which discussions on here about Forest actually make a difference?
I am voting for Congo as Forum Poster of 2023.
If he didn't buy us, we might not have had a club to support. You're acting like a massive child that has had his favourite toy taken away from him.
Who should we replace him with? Can you guarantee they would be better?

I'll stand by my comments Congo, probably the biggest impact of Cooper's time here was on the atmosphere in the ground, if you didn't witness it first hand then you can never fully comprehend it. I don't recall anything like it over a sustained period and that's with 45 odd years under my belt.I'd dispute that. I'm not in Nottingham, but I can see how much further it went than on the pitch.
Those who know me know that I've never liked our owner. It has nothing to do with me being a 'massive child' and everything to do with not wanting my football club associated with and ran by someone of his ilk. For legal reasons I am unable to detail my full true thoughts on a public forum but I have felt this way since 2017 not just since Tuesday.
This would be a great idea..Pity a banner couldn't be unfurled before kick off with a simple messgae like "Thank you, Steve". But, much as I adore Cooper, I think once 'Mull of Kintyre' is sung our focus should be solely on the new boss.
To a certain degree I don't disagree with you. In a certain sense the locals will always be the lifeblood the club. But those of us from afar can hear the noise and the atmosphere you generate, even on our devices. This is one of the miracles of listening to a live album like BB King Live the Regal. You aren't actually there, but you can experience the atmosphere of the moment. It's not exactly the same though, I will give you that.Touchy.
There's absolutely no way that you can fully understand Cooper's impact on our club from afar. The success on the pitch only tells you half of the story,, sorry if that offends you but that's the truth of it.
I'm assuming that is to do with all the reports in the media? Which, if I'm not mistaken, have all been rubbished in a court of law?
Apologies, if it is something else.
In fairness it could be argued that those not in attendance regularly are able to take a more pragmatic view of what's going on without letting emotion sway their thought process. To a certain degree I don't disagree with you. Trust Wes’s words Omar.In fairness it could be argued that those not in attendance regularly are able to take a more pragmatic view of what's going on without letting emotion sway their thought process.
All I (we) can judge is what we see and hear on the telly so we don't have a collective voice around us influencing anything.
Can be looked at several ways I reckon.
That is one of the most cretinous suggestions I’ve ever read (and I love Cooper and am unsure about Santo (not Nuno))There’s some saying that chanting for Cooper during Saturday’s match will undermine the new manager. I can get that, but I feel that we fans need to show our appreciation of what he’s done.
Can I suggest that on the 23rd minute, we as fans of NFFC do a “Stand Up For Steve Cooper” chant (like the one we used to do for Brian Clough). We should sing this for a full minute and then when the minute is complete, we should end it with chants of “Nuno!”
I’m suggesting 23rd minute as it represents the 23 years we were absent from the Premier League until Cooper got us there.
Thoughts?
Could also be:I like that plan. As long as there are Nuno chants too, I don't think it comes across as disrespectful.
(And as long as the Nuno chants are not
Nuno
Nuno Nuno
Nuno Nuno
Nuno he's no Cooper!)
Also been going 40 odd years and as I said elsewhere cooper changed the match day experience. I don’t think I will ever experience another day like the arsenal game - but theres probably another 12 or so games that were just off the scale compared to anything before. Memories that will never be forgotten.
I’ll miss Cooper and be forever grateful to him, but I won’t be chanting his name tomorrow. Nuno and the team get my full support.
Thank you for your response. I’m obviously too much of a cretin to post my thoughts on a football forum, so will cease to do so in future. That is one of the most cretinous suggestions I’ve ever read (and I love Cooper and am unsure about Santo (not Nuno))
