Carlos Miguel Ribeiro Dias - Cafú

Think that's a good move for both player and club.

He'll be a regular starter for Rotherham, and Rotherham get someone with a bit more technical ability than perhaps they have in their squad already.

Surprised it's only a one year deal but I guess that might be liability restriction from Rotherham. Not many clubs can do a Forest and bombsquad an expensive player who's got a four year contract after a couple of weeks at the club.

Brilliant. Glad to get the chance to keep tabs on him. Good Luck to the millers I think they’ve got a quality operator.

Sauce salad?
I'll be looking out for Cafu corner assists - if he isn't on them for Rotherham I was obviously wrong about the quality of his delivery!

I always liked him.
He's a likeable character, works hard and technically very gifted, though always did something in a game to remind you why he never quite broke through for us - he could do something amazing one minute but then fail to pass it effectively to a lad five feet away the next.

Not that he was that inconsistent (as in he did far more good work than bad) - I hope he settles into a first team spot at Rotherham and shows everyone that was just cobwebs...

I hope Rotherham draw the sheep in the cup. Cafu vs Spotley - the rematch

Have a nice little story about him and his wife.
My sister was looking after her friends kids, who actually go to games with my sister when my niece and nephew cant make it, and they bumped into Cafu and his wife. The kids recognised him and were understandably excited. Unfortunately in the excitement and asking him millions of questions one of them fell over and really hurt himself really badly ended up having to go to A&E . Cafu and his wife stayed with them until they got him to the hospital and couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They even contacted the lads family to make sure he was okay a few days later.
Word of mouth from my sister is he absolutely loved the club, fans and also Nottingham.
I hope he smashes it Rotherham. Think he will.
He should have been given more game time IMHO.

Good luck to him, seems a nice bloke. Not sure he's very good mind. Rotherham will probably need a bit more out of him than enthusiastic touchline celebrations & putting opposition players in headlocks.

If we hadn't gone up so rapidly he may have had a better run in the team for us. Will miss him! Hope he smashes it for Rotherham and becomes a cult hero. He should get a run of games for them. Think he's easily good enough for a mid table championship squad.

Will still be able to live in Nottm with that move.

Are you sure Cafu didn’t choke hold the kid in that melee though?

Just wish him all the best - however, amazed he has gone to Rotherham. To be blunt he is too good for them. Will be looking at their results as think maybe he might be able to get them into the top 6.
