I wonder what's going to happen when Vicario comes back from injury, because that boy Kinsky is very good.

As we've said before. What a difference a confident and solid goalkeeper makes to a team.
It's an absolutely crucial role in any team, and I don't buy this argument that defences make keepers good or bad - a good keeper wins you matches and points

You've only got to look at Leicester without Hermansen to see how shit they are without him in goal

Peter Taylor had it right when he said signing Shilton made the difference in winning the European Cup, he was that good

I really think our wingers will cause their full backs problems. I would target those two areas Tuesday night. I really think we can get a positive result especially with the crowd behind us.

Do you remember when Alex Ferguson struggled to replace Schmeichel and United would give up so many soft goals?

Ferguson tried Taibi, Bosnich, Barthez, Roy Carroll, Tim Howard.

It was only when van der Sar came along that United looked anything like their previous solid best.

Another shit game played, it was bound to happen at some point.

It's the fact that it's very sloppy which is annoying me though.

Big game on Tuesday indeed, will definitely be a thrilling game to watch.

Good wingers running at their fullbacks have been Liverpool's Kryptonite this year (we already know that with CHO). Lets continue that trend. COYR.

Apparently Harry Kane rang Bentacur to check on his condition after the suspected head injury during the league cup game with Liverpool.

"He is doing ok, however he has a slight speech impediment and slurred his words quite a lot" said Bentacur.

The result we want - more games for Newcastle could cause issues with their league games and more chance for us to stay in the top 4 or 5. Come on Newcastle, win the game and would not hurt if a few players picked up some injuries to keep them out for 5 to 10 games

And with Arsenal now having Martinelli going off with a hamstring injury as well...

I thought Arsenal or Liverpool winning was the ideal situation for European spaces?

Someone should tell the Newcastle fans that it's the Mickey Mouse cup they're playing for....mind you if you haven't won anything for 70 years...

Why do teams insist on this ridiculous play out from the back?
Absolute suicide.

To be fair they haven't won silverware in so long you can't blame them for getting a bit excited.

We were so close to knocking them out with our 2nd string too.

That’s 4 of our 9 major trophies.

I’d quite happily see us win 1 before I die, as I’m sure fans of many other clubs would as well.
Same. I'd love to see Forest win any major trophy, winning the League Cup would be amazing.

I hope we have a good crack at the FA Cup this season, should we have enough luck on the injury front to be able to balance it alongside our Champions League push.

What was the point of bringing Sterling to Arsenal? He's been shit all this time, slow, uninterested, even his diving skills are non existent.

Indeed. If we won any major silverware I'd be over the moon for years to come. It's usually such a closed shop between the same few teams, success is never to be sniffed at.

Guess it's a bit of a sliding doors moment as we probably should have beaten Newcastle in the earlier rounds - and now they're in the final.
