I keep seeing people mention him so the last few Cov games I have tried to really zone in and I just don't see it. His goal scoring record is OK but absolutely nothing stood out to me.
I've seen him a handful of times as he really stood out for me the first time he played for Cov against us - he's come on loads since then and his number now back up his play. Intelligent link up play, attack minded, fast, left sided but plays across the front and decent stats, albeit at the lower level.
I didn't see that one so can't say about performance levels. What I think he offers is a different approach rather than shoe in for first 11, while at the same time competing with Taiwo for his slot... He does a lot of his work from the left, so gives you the option of a three up front, as part of a more traditional two and can also do the inverted thing from the right. And he can definitely finish.

50:50 for me - not because of form or quality, just because it's one of those mad games where it comes down to who best manages the pressure on the day.
My Cov supporting friends aren't convinced he's got what it takes to make the step up. Apparently he's been poor for most of the last couple of months.
Reminds me a bit of Adam Armstrong going to Soton…not sure gambles are what we need. Same reason I am not keen on us targeting the scraps of relegated teams
