[BUPA] Alejandro Garnacho

He also as said, Garnacho is hard working in training, Gives it his all everyday.
Is very passionate to do a good job, Maybe shows his frustrations to much, but as a winning mentality and wants to do well.

Ultimately the manager loves him, but he don't fit the managers system going forward that he wants to play.

Their manager has also played with wingbacks at basically every other previous club, yet they don't have the right centre backs or any wing backs.

Garnacho might be a little ratty face but he is a young and very promising player.

For them to need to sell him because he doesn't fit the system, to fund players who do fit the system, implies the system and manager are the wrong fits for the club.

That implies they didn't do their homework when appointing him. They are also much worse than when ETH was there. Seems they would have been better sticking with him until they could get another manager who plays the way they do

Just getting Cunha deal done early is a massive step towards the managers right players for his system.
Cunha as number 10 with Bruno will be the basis to build around.
Wolves play the new Man Utd managers system and shows it works inthe prem with there current form.
I tell you in 2 years time, Man Utd will be a force if they keep this manager .

He needs to be backed to bring in a lot of players to suit his system which they currently don't have, as they appear to be skint, they will need to sell to buy including some big sales of key players who don't fit the system.

Knowing how much of a basket case Utd are, it'd be a massive irony if they actually did do this, and then gave it a few months to work rather than the season or two it needs, and then sack him for someone like Sean Dyche.

I'd like the world of football to come together and just not buy or sell any players to City or United.

It would only take a couple of seasons and the implosion would be massive.

Especially City with all the PSR charges which keep getting kicked down the line. Utd I can tolerate, even though I despise them more, because at least they are honest and shite/badly run as opposed to deliberately breaking the rules.

Not selling to Chelsea would be good too.

I bet you cheer for Elanga on match days, but your saying we shouldn't have brought from United.

No, I'm saying sod buying anything from them for the foreseeable. We got what we wanted from United. From this point on, f*ck em.

Elanga presumably counted as home-grown for Utd, so any money was a decent deal for them, but they f'd us around so much over Henderson and Garner that, imho, we should never do business with them again, unless the ball is firmly in our court.

Some of those SAF teams were amazing, but if the current Man Utd implodes and re-establish themselves as perennial 'whatever Utd,' my heart most definitely will not bleed, least of all for their millions of SE Asian 'fans.'

Garner is the one I was most disappointed never got over the line. A definite bright spot at Everton.

Yes they messed us about, But like I said, We didn't put the full amounts up and lost out to better offers.

I wanted Garner too. Misses quite a bit of football though - not sure what the issue is with his back but it's potentially the same issue he had when with us. Maybe the lengthy layoff earlier this season (or last? I lose track) has finally sorted it?

Garner made 49 appearances for us in 2021-2 but the first was the Wolves cup game, obviously we lost that, and taking out the 3 play off games and 4 FA cup games he played for us, is 41 of 46 league games, and 4 of the ones he missed were before he signed.

If he had an injury that season, he didn't miss much from it

He didn't, but missed a huge chunk of this season (or last - I forget) due to an injury in the same area we were managing with him: there's a lower back issue with him, which may or may not be sorted now.

Sorry, didn't realise that was the case. Still felt like they left us hanging. F*** Utd.

When he signed for Everton he went on the sick, like the rest of the work-shy Scousers.

Napoli offered £40m in January and it was turned down.
They get £50m easily
It depends, they are going to be under pressure to sell a homegrown player to fund an overhaul. If they sell Mainoo or someone early doors then they may be able to play hard ball. Bit of not they might have to snap a teams hands off.

We'll buy him for £50m if they give us £35m for Matt Turner, Count Vlachula style.

Come on United, you know it makes sense!
