I dont, I hope he fails massively I've never wanted the off spring of a pushy parent to succeed.

I've met/dealt with a fair few young-ish footballers parents now and the only time I'm surprised is when a decent one turns up.

Whether it's demanding an EV charger, demanding free shit, stealing club property or just being entitled ***** in general, I can honestly say that as a group of people, they're *****.

Bloody hell blast from the past, I remember his dad proper fell out with me (who could ever fall out with me right?!)

The PMs were a wild ride

I wonder if the reason we didn’t progress him into our first team (given his obvious defensive and offensive quality) was his inability to keep his cool in high pressure moments and resort to petulance. That second yellow was such a meaningless foul to give away in the dying minutes of a game.

Given our emphasis in character in the academy, and his dad being a massive tool, I suspect I’m not far off the truth.

I think it was more about his father being a tool than anything else. There's a half decent player in there too, though he's no Murillo.

Maybe so but he’s been doing the same shit all season. That interview he did about the very blatant penalty springs to mind

There was also this.

Isn't he a Muslim? It's possible he has religious reasons where he might be, shall we say, less willing to accept LGBT than others. I seem to recall that there was something with Kouyate before he signed for us too.

Kouyate's a real man.

(I jest, but that was the comment made that caused the story - he came out in support of a player not wearing the rainbow with the line above)

he was the captain though, and as thus represents the clubs supporters, of which a fair few are LGBT.

If those are his views then don't be captain when its LGBT recognition round which is meant to promote positive attitudes towards the LGBT+ community.

Simple really.

Sorry club, i dont agree with this, so cant be captain during this week.

The blade I spoke to preseason reckons he arrived and looked amazing, but tailed off shortly after. He's done ok this year in a poor side - hes comfortable with the ball but defensively suspect. Could he kick on with better players around him? Maybe, though not worth the punt at this level for the few required would be my take. He'll go somewhere in Europe and do ok.

I know Muslims who are very accepting of LGBT. Maybe he's just incredibly devout? Or just a bit of a tosser.
Could be either, but as with Christianity (see also the CoE stance on homosexual clergy) it's not considered part of the teachings of the religion.

Despite which I don't see why as we are in a modern society we shouldn't be accepting of all people.

I think he's a tosser personally. If it was his faith he would have come out (puns excused) before the match and explained why he wasn't wearing it.

Don't really care about why he's not worn an armband, he's not a Forest player anymore.
All that matters is that he was absolutely victimised by Callum Hudson-Odoi and as a result, we won.

Probably get himself sent off so he doesn't have to play for them the next game or because he had that tit Jack Robinson moaning at him, having to share a team with him would give anyone the hump.
