What an absolute fraud he was for us. Remember going to Deepdale on a Tuesday night and he came on for the last twenty minutes and he probably left the centre circle once. Tosser.

We don't really do well with players from Man Utd so we? Throw in a Jesse Lingard and going back a bit further Michael Stewart (who to this day retains the title for worst free kick ever taken for us) and you get the feeling we should avoid that poxy club at all costs.

Even Henderson who was alright ended up injured for half the season so that was tainted.

Can't remember which game it was but it was found the Forest goalie at the time had covered more distance that Cole during the match.

Always remember me and a mate coming back from Plymouth away on a Sunday lunchtime kick-off. Forest lost 1-0 and were awful, particularly one superstar striker Andrew Cole who barely broke sweat . On the way back we stopped off just outside Plymouth to get some petrol and another Forest supporter was also there and came out with the line "I thought Cole played well". All the way back to Nottingham we sat in the car going "I can't believe he said that, what was he watching". Even now whenever either of us is down in that nect of the woods we still refer to it as "Andy Cole's Petrol Station".

Yeah it was definitely Lee camp who ran further in one midweek home game. Camp did tend to run around his penalty area to stay sharp.

The 1-0 defeat at Plymouth when Cole barely broke sweat was on a Saturday afternoon-I
remember some Forest fans were particularly unimpressed with Colin Calderwood.
The Sunday lunchtime game was the season after and we won 1-0 with a rare goal from
Chris Gunter-the highlight being the pre-match Cornish pasty as Forest easily overcame a
relegation bound Pilgrims side.Andy Cole had fortunately long departed us by then.

Thought he might have had one last decent season on him at championship level, the season before he was loaned to Burnley who were also in the championship at the time and scored 6 goals in 13 games. Sadly didn’t do that here.

Only had 15 caps for England during his prime when he was at Man U, not because he was rubbish but because he was competing with likes of shearer, sheringham, fowler, wright, Ferdinand, Owen.

(On a side note which English fowards/strikers would walk into the team ahead of that lot other than Kane ?)

Did David Johnson play for Man Utd at some point in his career?
Ooh, good one! Don‘t know about „play“ but I believe he was on their books at one point, same as that colossal bell-end, Robbie Savage.
