Both versatile, left sided players.
Signing both would lead us to having Toffolo, Richards (when fit), Moreno and Cornet. Which is complete overkill.

Think Cornet has played left back, but is more effective in an advanced role. He'd be the obvious choice for me since we already have toffolo and Richards will heal.

I'm still totally confused by this one considering we've already got Richards and Toffs.
Cornet makes far more sense considering he can play about 4 positions and I think Coops would looks to play him in a more attacking role anyway.

Basing this purely on stats and credentials as I've never knowingly seen either him or Richards play. I think if Moreno signed he'd arguably be first choice when everyone is fit.
He's in his prime in terms of age, has played week in week out for Betis in La Liga who finished 5th last season and 6th the season before and has even been chipping in with goals and assists from full back. Richards has played far less football, particularly in the last 12 months. Richards has age on his side but for the here and now Moreno would probably be the better choice.

You might be right but then I’d question why we’ve spent 10m on left back if he wasn’t considered the outright first choice.
My argument isn’t against this lad being good I just don’t understand spending so much on numerous players in the same position, but as I seem to say multiple times a day, Coops and Murphy have forget more than I know about the sport so I’ll let em get on with it.
