3 player in 3 players out

Are we any closer to finding out who the other 2 are?

If the clubs are Stoke and Sunderland, I could believe Butland. Would be a little more skeptical about Bridcutt coming our way but Graham is out of favour so that's more likely but less inspiring.

I'd walk to Sunderland and give Bridcutt a piggy-back to get him here.

He's exactly what our midfield is missing. Bite, tenacity and drive.

Alan Nixons saying we want Jay Spearing from Bolton, assuming we manage to shift one out first...

Again, the kind of midfield enforcer we are missing.

Short, skinhead, scouse bastard. Perfect.

On a side note, if this is true then Lansbury is surely on his bike

You might be right here but to be brutally honest, on this season's form, he wouldn't be missed.

I want players running out that tunnel at five to three on a Saturday who want to bleed for this club.

Not players who fancy themselves as primadonnas who think the club owes them a living.

This is just my two cents, but I reckon a deal has been in place for a while. Pearce and Dyche are mates so I wouldn't put it past them to have struck up an informal agreement. Pearce thought he would benefit from getting Lansbury for half a season, but it hasn't worked out that way

It's the only way to explain Lansbury's monumental drop off in form and Pearce's reluctance to drop him

Could be. That would sort of make sense.

Surely Pearce wouldnt do that though?

Also, this would give us Spearing, Lansbury, Tesche, Vaughan, Osborn, Reid and Gardner all for centre mid...

Nixon's rumours rarely come to anything. He knows Bolton are trying to offload Spearing (I assume you've heard about his off-field antics) and link him with a club. He seems to be on the money with young loanees but a lot of his other statements are either to sell papers or to push an agents agenda. I wouldn't read too much into it until the player we're supposedly offloading is out the door.

Must have deals in place to sell Lichaj, Wilson, Vaughan, Paterson and Hobbs too. 6 in 6 out?

Well we've not had any offers for those players have we mate. We had a 3m offer on the table for Henri, Dyche said as much. I'm trying to piece it all together like Columbo

Ah, I see...

I reckon you're over-thinking it tbh. I think Lansbury looks bad this season for the same reason that most of our players look bad.

Jermain Defoe about to sign for Sunderland means a striker will be on their way probably. Still think Danny Graham would be a possibility.

The deal is cash + Altidore for Defoe, so a striker is on his way.

Danny Graham has done nothing for a long time now and was absolutely turd in all his recent Championship loan spells. Pearce may suck at managing but he's decent enough at spotting a player. Can't see us rushing out to get this guy.

Half this forum were having a wet dream about Danny Graham last season, I said he was guff then and would score f*** all at 'Boro (which was the case) and he would still be guff now.
