This is a great idea. The men (&women) behind the usernames. An eclectic fan base would definitely throw up some quality content. The amount of times I've read posts on this forum and thought 'his head's not wise... but would be great to have a pint with and hear the story'.... is in double figures (lol). Sure it'd be a hoot - supporting Forest requires a very good and dark sense of humour 😅🤍❤️

I'm not sure they were paying money to watch the podcast, but to access the benefits of membership, which was implied it could and might be access to a stream to watch the match.

That's it isn't it. They believed wrongly due to Wolvercunt presenting himself as watching a stream that it was available somewhere and was worth a quid to find out where to watch it.

Yeah there were often reports saying Cooper was far more ruthless behind that scenes than you'd think but to do that to Joe is rough. He deserved better.

I’ve just listened to most of the latest Garibaldi Gazette and I think it might be my last which will leave me with a grand total of zero Forest podcasts to listen to.

I’d missed the Ali / Fletcher minor bust up but over the last few weeks I’ve worked out that Ali is just useless.

He was talking about Pirates in relation to how we play, called our manager Nuno Santos and interviewed his 6 year old girl. He talks in riddles and like he’s reading some waffly novel which I’m sure no one wants.

So yes, that’s me out.

Jeeez… think some people are obsessed with creating a negative narrative towards Cooper. There’s two sides to every story, there’s some stories about Brian Clough that don’t paint him in a positive light, that doesn’t diminish his ‘legend’ status.

Steve Cooper got us to the Premier League and kept us there - I’m not going to read too much into a scorned players account of events. Given Nuno’s recent struggles, my positive thoughts on Coopers achievements have only increased.

The downside to Premier League promotion has been the emergence of some ridiculous podcasts with FFTV and the moron who runs it, as the worst.

Ali comes across a bit of a psedu intellect. Even if he wasn't, he certainly isn't the best person to have on a podcast, he knows bugger all about football and has the personality of a wet fart

Fortunately, his wallet is probably somewhat more solid. That's where GG does well. It's so much slicker with a producer and journalists who know how to stay on task.

I haven't heard this week's episode, so I might be back with some caustic acid a little later.

This is where it split in the worst possible way. The better guests remained with the worst production at Forest Focus whereas the better produced product in Garibaldi has the most nauseating guests

Very true.

If Ali was canned and GG could poach and rotate Greg, Temps and Fletcher (very possible) and then get Max from GR to do a five minute interviewing the public section every now and again then that would be fine. Twice a week with MDA as host for the main one and a shorter preview pod hosted by Temps (as he was miles better when filling in for MD). Done.

I forgot I do also listen to the BBC one which is actually a bit crap but short and offers something a bit more direct to the club.

Agreed as it stands you need to MDMA twice a week to make it bearable
