f***ing hell. I didn’t see this coming on the 1st day of the season. We’re in for a gut wrenching few weeks now whilst this shit gets sorted.

I felt at the time that the crazy Cooper decisions at 2 nil against Luton could cost him his job.
The stats don't lie, only S utd flook result against any lower level side.

I don't see how this is cooper's fault, he picks the team but he doesn't tell Sangare to f*** up passing and Murillo to go f***ing walkies does he?

Most comments on here were in favour of the team selection and that we were better before we conceded and then all of a sudden 2 good goals from Fulham and we're getting relegated... Jeez

If we get one back it could change...
Bang on, it doesn't matter who Cooper picks atm, someone will make a stupid mistake and the opposition will score. Who can he turn to?

I think Coops has the humility to admit when things aren’t going well and the guts to try to change it. He’s still learning but he is making the effort to learn and adapt. Rather that than a Ten Hag who won’t admit to any liability for poor results and thinks he’s a demi god. Those wanting a change of manager at this stage of the season can go boil their heads
I agree but I think that's it and I think he already knows as do radio Nottingham I don't know if you listened to any of the pre match stuff on there but the narrative had changed almost like they had been pre briefed

Totally lacking spirit. Seemed to have it in abundance last season, even after a hammering we showed up the next day. Not happening this year. Players who played with spirit like Brennan/Henderson/Lodi have been replaced by cheech and chong

Misses the champ
I wonder how many teams will have started a side this season with only 3 players from last season in it? I bet it's just us, our ridiculous recruitment has finally bit us in the arse. It was a miracle we had the team spirit we had last season after all the changes there but you had the spine of Worrall, Yates and Johnson to help.

Now that's gone and we're just a bunch of strangers who don't care.

There will be half time changes.

Really hoping Cooper can pull this one off and resurrect at least a point but, judging from our current form, I just can’t see it I’m afraid.

Can't Play Left-Back
Well that was wank. We're too nice. We're so easy to play against. No nastiness in any of them (even Felipe). No dynamism. No creativity. No desire. We lose the ball stupidly, then we just get overrun. Fulham haven't needed to be any good. We can't just keep buying a new team every season but I don't know how Cooper (or anyone) can get a tune out of this lot. They just look like a bunch strangers, and the only leader out there is the 21 year old Brazilian kid that cabn't speak the language with about 30 professional appearances to his name. We look dead in the water.

It tizwas it is
Awonyi missing is such a red herring, If we had Haaland up front we'd still be losing 2-0, we create absolutely nothing for the forwards, the whole team is devoid of any creativity. Our team has evolved into Houghton Ball in the Premier League after spending the best part of £300M.

Look, we love Steve Cooper.

But what's more likely, every single player is utterly dog shit, or the coaching isn't getting the best out of them?

Sangare was blasting CL games, Mangala a Belgian international etc etc etc. But here they struggle.

Just look at the Sangare 'mistake'. He's desperately looking to give a ball the way he's facing, everyone turns their backs, he has to turn right and he gets ambushed. We saw it time and time again with Freuler last year too.

There's no game plan, they aren't working on attacking patterns.

Players take some blame, obviously. But as much as we love Cooper he has to be held responsible for the product we are seeing.

I hope nobody thinks we're too good for relegation. You can't if you've watched the last 2 and half games.

Relegation is a very real possibility if we continue to play like this. And that in the eyes of the fella who puts his money in just won't be acceptable, surely.

Odysseus: no chance with either goal;
Aina: getting lost in defence;
Felipe: not match fit;
Murillo: we expect too much fro him, but he is still our best player;
Toffolo: struggling against Awoniyi;
Sangare:,£35m wasted;
Mangala: lively but can’t do it all himself;
Dominguez: struggling;
Hudson-Odin: struggling;
Origi: rusty but trying;
Elanga: shocking.
Overall ok until they scored.
Terrible after.
What’s the game plan, Steve?

Stuart Pearce
Get Niakhate on for Sangare. Push Murillo into midfield

Take Origi off for MGW and have a right go at them

Exactly that. Slow, disjointed and shorn of confidence

Does anyone think a tactician to compliment Coops player development might be the way forward?
Was thinking something similar: shades of SOD being brought in to help Cotternil. I love SC, but think he needs some support as we seem to be going backwards. Brennan is a big miss, but the squad is definitely stronger than last year.

Have you noticed Dom keep looking around and pointing when he presses, expecting the numbers to be there to help him with the press. He and Bologna were class at doing this, but he cannot do it on his own.
I wonder if this is the case with Sangare too. So used to playing in more dynamic attacking formations. Our frugal approach to matches nullifies a lot of what these players do best.

Yates really isn’t the answer for any of our problems. He tries which is of course nice and I can see why the clamour for him. However we need more than just trying at this stage even though I know he will probably improve on sangares performance tonight if he came on.

I honestly think if we'd taken the lead we would have carried on playing at the same tempo and they would have scored. It's always a repeat every week.
