Garner at £10-15m is an absolute no-brainer for me
Given the business we've done I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't sign any of them, but given the amount of new faces, for team cohesion I think bringing Garner back would be great for the side.Am I the only one that isn't bothered about signing Garner? Or Davis (I know he's gone to Watford) or MGW for that matter.

I dunno I think we've got an upgrade on Garner in midfield with O'brein, has more energy and possibly even more ability than Garner.Given the business we've done I wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't sign any of them, but given the amount of new faces, for team cohesion I think bringing Garner back would be great for the side.
Yeah I don't disagree. I just think Garner would be good to have around the place and a great bench option. But then if not starting is his issue at Man U then I doubt he'd want to swap their bench for ours.I dunno I think we've got an upgrade on Garner in midfield with O'brein, has more energy and possibly even more ability than Garner.
True dat.... I'm sure in many ways he'd love to be back as he must love the club but he needs game time and a place he can make an impact. If I were him I think I'd consider somewhere like Watford - team up with Davis and the pair of them could work on promotion and staying with a team that won't do (can't do?) the kind of massive rebuilding and upgrade that we've done if they go up. For me he's just on the cusp between excellent Champ player and PL bench.Yeah I don't disagree. I just think Garner would be good to have around the place and a great bench option. Not particularly difficult to come to that conclusion'Cooper is Forest's best boss since Brian Clough'

No he just 'finished'Never finished his business.
I don't think Kouyate will get many games I think he'll just be a bench option who can cover a couple of positions and offer an experienced head in the dressing room with prem experience.I'd love to have Garner still. But also feeling a bit for Yates, I'd like to see what he can do in the Prem and he's already competing with LOB, Freuler, Mangala, and Kouyate.
He probably won't start a game, used as a sub to go to either DM or CB positionI don't think Kouyate will get many games I think he'll just be a bench option who can cover a couple of positions and offer an experienced head in the dressing room with prem experience.
Yeah so be Yates/Mangala & Freuler/O'Brien competing. If the plan is to go three in the middle for some games then I could see Garner fitting in and getting games. Would just take one or 2 injuries which are normal for all clubs and he'd be back as a starter. Whereas he's just making up the bench numbers at Man Utd til they buy some more midfielders. He probably won't start a game, used as a sub to go to either DM or CB position
