It just means he's cutting ties with England and making his self eligible to play for the USMNT

Wasn't he already as he was born over there? Even though his parents are from the UK and he's grown up in West Bridgford.

I think it's a similar situation to bojo where his British parents were working over in the US for a bit and had a kid over there.

Grealish was born in Birmingham from Irish heritage, and plays for England.

Probably correct decision for Mighten. He won't play for England but he might play for the US side.

Also think it's valuable he goes out on loan this year.

He's a dual citizen, was born in the US. Chose to represent England at youth levels but clearly now he's getting older he has no chance of breaking in with the big boys, so a switch to the US makes sense and will probably get him a call up at some point

Grealish played for Ireland at every level from youth up until Under-21, before changing allegiance to England.

Declan Rice being another one who switched from Ireland to England

A bit like Owen Hargreaves, who, like former Forest striker Joe Baker, holds the distinction of making his England debut without ever playing in the English league system beforehand.

Really like Mighten, you can see he's bursting with potential, flashes of high level skill. But needs a season to get battle hardened, more than anything else in his development right now imo. He gives up and gets frustrated too easily, and I think it's frustration when he makes a poor decision, which is too often. Needs the opportunity to iron these things out of his game at a high level of competition with a good coach, and he'll be an absolute bastard machine for Forest in the future

Needs to go out on loan somewhere he's going to play every week. The talent is there but he doesn't play often enough for him to hone them into the full package.

I'd like to see him go to somewhere like Blackpool if they sell Bowler. They've got a good young manager and play a decent brand of football too. I think Mighten would be well suited to how they line up.
