I suspect he doesn't want to be thought of as just a pace monster hence his desire to play wide left and be able to both run the flank and cut inside on his favoured foot.

But for me he's not a cute ball player like MGW or CHO, and he just needs to stick to what he's best at. No shame in that because what he's good at he's really good at.
Absolutely and at times he's been unplayable when he does that too, a bit like Bale in a way and it didn't do him any harm focusing on what he was exceptional at did it!?

Moyes being replaced by Lopetegui. Ideally, this news could have come in the summer, rather than a few days before they play Luton. One would like to imagine Moyes wanting to sign off at home with a win, but after watching the Scousers unravel following Klopp announcing his departure, I'm not optimistic anyone at West Ham will be motivated on Saturday. Very unhelpful timing this.

Alternatively you can posit that the players are now under the microscope of their new manager - they should want to impress so they are in his plans for next season. Even he's been given a large war chest of cash for new players you can't imagine he'd be able to replace an entire squad (I mean who could imagine such a thing!!)

I don’t see this being a bad thing at all. Puts to bed the uncertainty and unrest, and simultaneously a chance to impress the incoming manager and give the outgoing manager a good send off.

Was just looking through the previous few Man United seasons. I think I'd be correct in saying that if they lose to Palace tonight United will have lost the most matches in a season in their Premier League history (13 matches).

With Arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton still to play.

I fully expect Palace to be more competitive next season. They've got a very good manager in Glasner.

Agreed.

He does look like a butch lesbian though.

No doubt - because he's Austrian . . . and the close links that country has with Germany - we'll soon be told that their butch lesbians are better looking than English butch lesbians, of course.

Good manager, all the same. Some very handy players at his disposal too.

Is it just me or does anyone else want to see Man Utd humiliated... you know, a 4-5 nil humbling... ?

Not sure who looks more clueless on the sidelines, Ten Haag or Steve McClown.

Then again, that's just McClown's typical look.

At least it's not too far to get home to Surrey for the ManU fans there
