West Ham getting a new Manager.

Unbelievable that they are getting rid of Moyes
Hope they play for him in his last home game

Hope they drop down through the leagues for getting rid of him
Moyes is a very underrated manager for me.

Did a decent enough job at Everton to persuade SAF that he should succeed him but then he wasn't given a season at that and they're still in a terrible mess - considering the likes of ETH (who had a decent rep with Ajax), van Gaal, Jose have all been there and failed too, this looks like it wasn't down to Moyes and that he should have had longer.

Seem to recall he was fine at Sunderland and they went down after he'd left.

West Ham replaced him with Pellegrini (who is a much more high profile name) and almost went down before going cap in hand back to Moyes for a 2nd spell.

We could do worse if we decided to replace Nuno in the summer really.

Just enjoy the breathing room this weekend has given us.

We're nearly there, and the odds are in our favour.

I actually fancy us against Chelsea, I think we'll get at least a point.
For me it depends, if Luton win I think we will struggle for confidence, go into our shell as per usual, if the pressure is off I would expect us to play with more freedom and get something.

I dont fancy going to Turf Moor on the last day needing something, get this f***ing shambolic season done and dusted.

West Ham fans are absolute whoppers, the lot of em. Where do they actually think they can get in terms of league position? Thyeve won f*** all since I was born until they managed to win a piss pot European trophy last season and finished 7th.

What exactly is the logic behind the way their fans think?

Burnley are in a really bad place as they have to go for it against a team built for counter attacking. If I'm Son, Brennan, etc I'm so excited about this game as there should be acres of space to exploit behind the defenders.

Tbh, that's the kind of deluded move I'd expect Marinakis to pull 😆

It's a cliche to say that West Ham players will have their mind on impressing Lopetegui. Let's hope its true.

We could do a lot worse than Moyes. He's a safe pair of hands, won't do anything flashy but won't let you down either. Over 1000 games most of them in the PL isn't achieved if you're not good at that level.

Howe did a similar job at Newcastle to what we need to move to the next level but genuinely we are 3 years or thereabouts off being able to consider 15th a good finish

Oh sure. I was referring to him employing Moyes, then sacking him for Lopey after having the success West Ham did under Moyes lol

Yes, but there have been times where a manager has come in and made an obvious improvement.

Everyone actually thought Bournemouth were dead certs under Iraola at the start but he has them almost top half now. Emery at Villa is an obvious turn around but then Gerrard was shite. Lopetegui did decent at Wolves last season and has a good previous record.

He's available, Moyes probably has gone as far as he can with them, and if they do want to consider the likes of Chelsea, Villa, Newcastle as rivals probably do need a change to push on.

Moyes has been solid but he's never really the sort to deliver success in terms of huge trophy winning.

NES is going nowhere.
Next season will be boring mid table mediocrity

They must think Moyes is not going to sign a new contract; the Lopotegui coaching position is conditional on Moyes leaving.

It’s been made clear to the West Ham fans last week that moyes was going. See my previous post about the lap of the pitch being cancelled after next Saturdays last home game.
Moyes wont touch Forest / Maranakis with a barge pole.
I could see Moyes back at Everton if they get rid of Dyche at some point.
