The timing and impact of the Great Season Ticket Robbery couldn't be worse: Everton away, after they got a drubbing, but where they have the best record of scoring from set-pieces means there will only be 3,000 or so fans to air their grievance.
Then Man city (home), when the team will really need the fan boost to stand a chance of getting anything out of the game.
If the travelling fans protest, and the City Ground faithful protest, it will put another 2 sizeable nails into the Forest in the Prem coffin.

The timing has nothing to do with the end of the season.

The cynic in me thinks it’s because we may well get relegated not despite it that the prices have gone up so much. Those extra matchday revenues really do make a difference at the lower level, and if they have to get them in early while we’re still ‘a premier league club’ so be it. (Note: I strongly disagree with this policy, just guessing at their thought process here)

Reflecting on it a bit more, adults attending on their own or with pals/partner/whatever have a right to be annoyed with a 20% increase, though it is a sad sign of the times. Take it or leave it.

What they have done with the kids prices is pretty disgraceful though. And short sighted. Get the pitchforks out!

To be fair I've spent most of this season very pessimistic compared to last year but I've turned a bit and think we beat Everton Sunday get something against Chelsea then see where we stand because the sheff u and Burnley fixtures do still scare me to death to be honest

Amazing to see the complete lack of fight from many on here.

We spent the majority of last season in the bottom three, and posters were much more optimistic of our chances.

We were last season's Luton really for ease of comparison, we had fight and the novelty of being in the Prem on our side, this year not so much.

One thing we did have at this point last season was a talisman returning to full fitness. Awoniyi was the difference between up and down last season.

I'm not sure Luton have that. I must say I'm slightly ignorant to the quality of their squad individually though so someone may correct me there.

As I posted weeks ago, in a dog fight, it is not the dog in the fight... it's the fight in the dog.
Luton may be a terrier mongrel, but from experience i know a terrier mongrel has a lot more fight in it than a purebred pedigree, unless the pedigree has been specifically bred to accentuate its fighting characteristics.
And Forest don't appear to have been bred for fighting.

Adebayo is definitely their Talisman. Has a knack for scoring important goals.

If the away goals rule was still in place , like it was in our European days, then City would have won the tie. Just saying
I'm going to just say that if the competition was an actual knockout of the league champions from around the world, and not some weird variation of a European super League, they'd probably already have been knocked out.

Long time ago - but I don't remember us having to rely on away goals
In 78/79 - I don't recall us losing a game even.
It would be interesting to know if anyone had won the CL without either away goals or losing a game?

It’s is bizarre / idiotic timing when we most need the fans support
