Season Cards 2024/2025

I believe there is an instalment option when you proceed to checkout when re-newing.

I don’t know how it compares to previous schemes.
We are serious about getting people into debt, are you?

With regard to the Finance options queries above. It's through v12 and I've taken it up for the 1st time.in many seasons (was Zebra last time I did it!)

It's a 0% interest option but the arrangement fee is just over 43 quid, and is calculated in hence the 20 odd % APR info. Payments can be over 4 8 or 10 months.

See screencap (cropped from my agreement). Mine is 570 but I had some ticket exchange credit hence the slightly lower amount.

What HAS pissed me off this morning is that I've now had an email from V12 inviting me to see if I am eligible for a loan. Now, while I neither want or need one, I can see that some may well be tempted and get themselves further into debt. I think it's appalling that customer info is being used in this way after being forced Into using finance for a ST due to short deadlines and sharp rises. I wonder if the club are aware that details of potentially vulnerable people finance wise are being used like this?

Were you given the option, when signing up, to „opt-out“ of such marketing Zoe?

Because legally, you should have been.

I hated the 'member' thing when I first heard about it - should have seen this coming really off the back of that.

It's all a load of old shit, and it's never good when it creates divisions within the fanbase - Forest fans are just that, whether member, season ticket holder or currently unable to attend (as I have been at different times throughout my 40 plus years of following the reds) we should stick together.

If the club want to do daft things that's their perogative, but it shouldn't lead to fans having to prove their right to be in (or indeed out) of the ground.
Damned if they do, damned if they don’t to an extent though with the memberships. Without any system in place and a complete free for all for the remaining 5/6 thousand tickets I reckon there’d be just as much bickering and division going on. If not more.

Football fans can be pretty good (i.e. bad) at ‘gatekeeping’ who is and who isn’t a ‘proper fan’ all by themselves.

Agree we should stick together. I don’t give a toss how many games people have and haven’t been to in the past.

I honestly can't remember exactly what the box I ticked was. Afaik it was "future communication" or similar. I unchecked phone and checked email as obviously I needed the loan docs through. I didn't expect 48 hrs later to be invited to get into further debt! I don't remember marketing being mentioned.

Nottingham's dirty secret
A friend of mine has a season ticket at Spurs. A decent seat near the halfway line but he really wants to move. His is the last seat before the corporate section starts and every home game he sits with a large group of guests, many of whom don't have a much of a clue what's going on.
This block is sold to Korean guests who pay £400 for a seat, a bit of food and a drink at half-time
He tells me they are lovely people but after years of it he desperately wants to talk football to the people around him.

I really hope we don't end up like this.
Don’t worry FP, there’s zero chance that can happen at Forest.

You're not wrong Quintob.

If anyone was daft enough to give it the go-ahead here it'd be Korea suicide.

Do you really think so.
While me and the Mrs are able to meet the extra cost to us (£265) and I still feel "once a Red, always a Red", I can't help but feel guilty that I will be taking my seat next season, while the Mum and Daughter (who falls into the over 17 catchall) who me and the Mrs always have a good chat with may not be there. And just along from us is a young man who suffers with some debilitating neurological disorder, who also will be hit by being "too old" (unless of course he already enjoys a disability concession).
The price increase without the age concession restrictions would probably be acceptable - unpleasant, but acceptable.
I think it is the swingeing impact on the young that really makes this unpalatable.
And as Greg mitchell says on the Forest Focus podcast following Forza's decisive positioning statement, fans needn't think it will just be 24% average increase this season.
Until that waiting list disappears, it will be another big hike next season and the season after.

It's the age categories that is the hardest one to accept and the lack of communication with the fan groups, if you were going to increase by this much, give fans a bit of warning. A media appearance wouldn't make it any easier, I guess I want to see someone from the club explain the decision and not just hide behind statements and immature tweets.

It was the paying for the privilege and teirs I didn't like, though you are probably right regardless.

Nowt will happen, the club will ignore the bad press then laugh at us when they collect everyone’s money for next year.

Folk could easily tell Forest were not having it by not spending anything at the City game and then all walking out early to show them they do actually need us.

In reality people will turn up buy a few massively overpriced pints and then sit there for 90 odd minutes probably watching us get battered and then come home to whinge about ticket prices online.

It's not 0% interest if they're just calling their take something else. Don't be fooled by headlines, always focus on the APR. It's a 20% interest loan, which is incredibly expensive.

If you pay the full amount due each month - as per the 8 month credit agreement, you don't need to worry about the APR as you're not paying interest.

It's 0% interest if you stick to the agreement. Which is a fairly good deal if they're only sticking £43 on top.

As a lifelong Red, but sporadic visitor, i just wanted to say thank you. i'm a Londoner (my mother's family from worksop), so stick out like a sore thumb. I get some funny looks ("ref you fackin' cant") sometimes, and i'm always on my own, which makes the visit a little odd. But without fail, i'll get chatting to someone who just accepts me as another fan and we can reminisce or moan, or eulogise about Murillo.

FWIW, the season ticket effort is a debacle. Poorly thought through, poorly communicated, and it's clear there is a shift towards us being customers, not fans. Yes, revenue is important, but as the point has been made time and again, ticket sales is a drop in the overall ocean. What price can you put on a noisy, emotional WFCG, singing it's heart out, urging the team on, over 28,000 people coming to "watch some football" (i exaggerate for effect). It's the short term thinking which, spinning on 5 seasons, leads to us being a Fulham or Brentford (both get lots of London tourists) - soulless.

Apparently Cartledge has stayed away from the ground since it was announced. Also heard that 200 away tickets for Everton have been returned after the announcement, don't know how true that is though.
Not Surprised he hasn't been anywhere near, wouldn't be surprised to see him go all together

When you have colossally, massively, f**ked up, and pissed off thousands of your most loyal fans, the best thing you can do is own it and front it up.

That the football club have run away and hid, is - for me - the worst part of this absolute debacle.

Come out and explain why, and justify these price-rises. Otherwise, it looks like nothing more than a naked money-grab, one that they can‘t be bothered to justify, explain, or apologise for.

This club man, it is certainly not what it once was, or - to be honest - what it should be.

And that makes me sad.

Was always taught at work if a customer had a complaint get in front of them asap. The longer you leave it the worse it gets. Forest are hiding from their “customers”
That is correct.

Own it, deal with it, and turn a negative in to a positive.

Forest, meanwhile, are doing their usual shite and sticking their collective heads up their arses.

I hate this football club sometimes.

The bit in bold is a great idea for people who want to protest rather than not singing MOK or booing or what ever madcap idea that would actually be detrimental to the team.

DON"T BUY ANYTHING from the shop or anything in the ground. Simple. The protest then becomes saving money to put towards the Season Ticket price hike.

I don't know who is responsible for the PR at Forest, but I wouldn't employ them. They are consistently dreadful in every respect.

This ticket price rise could have been dealt with so much better. I understand where the club is coming from, but they in turn really must show their fans some respect and it would not have been very difficult to (a) make the announcements in a different way, and (b) add some announcements to please the fans (facilities upgrades etc).

Avoiding the media merely demonstrates how pathetic the club is in this regard.

Add in the nonsense about the FA Cup being further downgraded / rules changes to suit the Sky Six, and I fear that football is well on the way to becoming something for tourists and customers, players and agents, sharp suits and rip off merchants, and I don't like any of that.

Can't say that Strummer.

Criticise the club and you criticise the owner and that's not really fair. We'd be nothing without him.

Criticising the club simply makes us look stupid and takes away support from the team and they need our support, as does the club and owner.

Agree with this - the season card release has been handled really poorly, but the fact that nobody at the club has taken ownership is a double whammy. Really disappointed in the club.

The club have formally refused an interview with BBC Nottingham to explain to the fans their reasoning behind the price increases.
Wow.

Just.....wow.

That's absolutely disgraceful.
Heads need to roll at the highest levels.
