Season Cards 2024/2025

It's all about mid-table...
What worries me is that this increase is because the club are in more financial shite than they are letting on.

The club of late has not been honest with the fans, are great at keeping things hidden, then act all surprised when they are found out.

The tip of the iceberg seems to be getting bigger. Best start talking about a new ground again.......or development plans to the present ground. Best start blaming the refs, the council or anyone else who has not been blamed yet.

. The best possible atmosphere you can generate to work in will only yield better results. .
Perhaps the club might have given some thought as to the atmosphere their decision would create.

They've created it.

The only tool supporters in the ground have is in some way to tell the club what they think of the atmosphere the Club has created.

Not singing MoK would be an incredibly powerful message.

I'm in the fortunate position that I can afford the increase for my SC next year, though I do have a budget and feel for the fans where the increase is pricing them out. I will probably not purchase a shirt next year, this will claim some of the increase back. I think the club need to be shown that the level of increase is not acceptable. How about as a protest that we do not wear our shirts or take our scarfs to the last two home games? Will the club understand that this is what it could look like next season? Will it kill the atmosphere? Something needs to be done, I just don't know what without cutting our noses off to spite our faces.

I really dont see how a few people not singing MOK will even be noticed or acknowledged.

I mean, if you want to make a stand, do it properly. Organise an actual protest, or something with the potential to have an impact. Pissing in the wind with silly token gestures.

Depends how many is a few, 100 won't make a difference few thousand big difference, 10k massive. 25k and silence would be huge.

Yeah a proper organised protest in the car park after the game for example would send a much clearer message and not actually affect the game. But then I suppose that might be inconvenient if people want to leave early to beat the traffic.

I can see both sides of the MOK debate to be fair, but I don't see enough people not signing it to make a noticable difference anyway. I think most people will just want to get behind the team during the last 2 home games.

D'you know what... I actually think that's what people are planning, looking at this thread.

The club won't change their mind whatever protests happen.

The only thing that will change the clubs tact on this is renewals in twelve months time, if Forest are in the championship and about to head into our second season there with season ticket prices as they currently are.

Im all for people expressing themselves, but If I were so annoyed and angry about anything in life I would be attempting to do far more than saying om not going to sing a song on a forum.

Starting a protest thread would he an idea? Express some opinions on how to go about etc? Nail your colours to the mast.

Ive not seen any of that.

It’s easy to blame everyone but yourself.

I can't be arsed, frankly, to split out the comments on this thread alone (ignoring the many others too) to create a protest thread.

People can compartmentalise things - the erudite discussion on the relative merits of pie cannons sits within the thread about Mr Marinakis but most people can separate the 2 streams in their head.

There's plenty of chat about how to voice (ha!) displeasure, on this thread.

Okay, If you cant be arsed, and nobody else can, nothing will change.

And what about if we were heading into the 3rd division god forbid?

It could happen and it has.

Reported for insulting me!

Yeah, I mean would it not be better to display a banner with a message about the price hike on, than not do one at all? The ownership probably wont even notice.

We're British; we don't do protesting. We just have a bit of a grumble, then bend over and a apathetically take like obedient little plebs.

Say what you like about the French, but at least they have the will to stand up for themselves when they feel like they are being shat on.
I remember the good old Megson days when Kilburn Red would strip his beds for the sheets to scrawl on and Wootton had a Toast Protest. 🤣
