Season Cards 2024/2025

It won’t happen and probably wouldn’t make any difference if it did but just as a starter: every single one of us gives MOK the silent treatment and turn our backs to the pitch. Followed by 5 minutes of “you greedy robbing bastards” for 5 solid minutes. For all 5 remaining games

Let the whole world know what we think of this mess

The price rises are one thing.

The timing is another.

The communication is simply astonishingly bad/arrogant.

I know I'll get shot down and told that EM is our saviour and he puts the money in etc etc. Could be much worse etc etc. But this is just another in a long, long, long line of arrogance and incredible levels of incompetence behind the scenes at Forest. I really do think I'm at the point where I wish he would f*** off.

Problem is we still want the team to do well / stay up.

I think the Forest are magic chant can have a rest though.

A good post.
I just wonder if some people will wait until the deadline (10 May) before they finally decide-if
it looks as if we are dropping by then (with only 2 games left) maybe some won’t bother
renewing (those that can afford to).
And that in itself is an issue…people in uproar who will wait to find out what league we are in to pay it.

I like many had a ST for years, including travelling back from uni every home game and some away. My circumstances changed and I didn’t have the time or disposable to afford to go. Sad but I had to make decision on how to spend my money. My circumstances have changed and now I can go and would pay that for a ST as it’s pretty much what I have to pay already with membership.

I appreciate the hike and timing is frustrating but it’s no different from anything in life you need to cut your cloth accordingly.

Agree with many others on here. Terrible timing - surely the Club don't want any distractions for our final 5 games? I've had a season ticket (card) in block R for the past 30 years & there hasn't been one single improvement to the facilities. So I'm expecting a heated seat for games in December & January.........waiter service so that I don't have to queue for a beer.......a warm edible sausage roll delivered by the aforementioned waiter.......& a free programme.....and most importantly for us to stay in the PL.

I actually think that's a really good idea. Everyone knows how big Mull of kintyre is for us. Seeing the crowd fall silent and turning their back would definitely send a huge signal out. It would also be highly embarrassing for those sat in their plush seats whilst sar in front of the world's media against Man City

Or it could just act as a distraction for the team at a time when that is the last thing they need.

I don’t agree with staging a fan protest at this critical stage of the season.
The time to be silent is the opening game of next season.
If we are in the Championship the silence should be maintained until the Club relent and issue us with refunds.
Is this still “our club”?

The truth is all of this will blow over, as frustrated as people are the extortion will be accepted and 90% of people will pay up. The outrage won't last long, in a months time people will have already moved on to something else because that's just the way the modern world seems to work

And i'm sure the club are perfectly aware of it, which is why they have no shame and seemingly no concerns about backlash

What they haven’t told you is 10,000 of the waiting list have a surname starting with an M and ending with arinakis.

I don’t believe for a second there’s 11,000 people queuing up to get a season ticket.
If he thinks 11,000 people will still be wanting a season ticket in the Championship, he is in for a hell of a shock...

For me, seeing a full City Ground every week is still a real novelty. When we were season ticket holders in League 1, I have a memory of us getting 23,000 against Leyton Orient on a Tuesday night and thinking "phwoar the place is packed!" (We lost 3-1 and Matt Lockwood scored)

Agreed-but it’s disappointing that some long term fans (who supported us in League 1 and numerous Championship relegation struggles) will probably be priced out of going to see
the team they love.

Bell ends would be an improvement Alfred.

Like you, I gave up my ST several years ago, in my case, when I emigrated, having held it for fifteen years since I moved back to Nottingham.

This sort of price-gouging is typical of the Premier League mindset and it’s an insult to the matchday supporters, who make the atmosphere what it is.

Forest won’t care, because they can sell those tickets to PL tourists.

You know, I don’t think I’ve ever felt so removed from what was „my“ club?

(I’m not going to bore everyone by comparison with my local side, but suffice to say, their would be riots if the VfB - or any German club, for that matter - pulled a stunt like this).

Funnily enough, this morning a Forest Whatsapp group I'm in with local Forest lads is seeing talk about sacking the reds off next season for Stags now.

A couple of them did do this under Fazza, but came back to the fray when he left.

I'm not so sure that the club can count on as many renewals as it thinks with the Stags success and it's Clough connection.

Truly amazing timing by Forest 😆

It's the price of ambition.

Can't blame the owner for prices going up like this. He got us promoted after all.
If we're being honest, this whole mess is Steve Coopers fault.

Had he just kept us flirting with Championship relegation, then we wouldn't have had to endure these price hikes.

I'm confident that sacking him will resolve all the issues at the club which the top brass continually seem to cause.

The best is yet to come.

I wouldn't blame them one bit for sacking it off to be honest.

I was going to renew despite not being happy with the price hikes (as I am fortunate enough to be able to afford it) but I'm having second thoughts now after those tweets from the club last night.

From lying about complying with FFP, the club seemingly angling to move the club away from the City Ground and now basically openly telling long time fans who can't afford the price rises to go f*** themselves if they can't afford it as there are plenty of new customers willing to take their place.

The club's attitude and contempt for the fans absolutely f'cking stinks.

Absolutely,Ash-they also s**t on the original away members who supported the club
in difficult times.
What price loyalty?

Indeed mate. Anyone who's had the sense to pay attention to the likes of Dan Taylor and a few credible social media sources knows there's a huge disconnect between the Greeks and us fans.

They don't give a flying toss about us, we're just Matrix batteries to fuel their egos and vanity projects.

Yes. It's not even the price rises in isolation that have wound me up, its the club's attitude towards its fans.

I'm so utterly sick of the way Marinakis runs this club (the time under Murphy/Cooper excepted) and treats the loyal fans who have followed the club through thick and thin.

The new out of town stadium will be their next vanity project. f*** us lot who've been going for years, f*** the young people and elderly on low incomes and f*** the working class struggling with the cost of living. In their minds there are 50k new fans who will take our place and pay top whack to see the Midlands version of MK Dons play in some shit identikit stadium miles away from Nottingham.

EM got lucky with Murphy/Cooper.

Everything outside of that has gone spectacularly tits up off the pitch
