My mate just text me, his has gone up by £200. It's not a working man's game anymore. Or a pensioner,s.
I'll take it you can't get in anymore for a fiver,with a UB40?

I think it was 1/6d when I first went to Forest.

And the scousers were protesting last week for a 2% increase.

There is zero ways of justifying this blatant dry bumming of loyal fans.

Properly raging.

Would love to see a full on vote with feet and nobody renewing and all on waiting list giving them a fat f*** off too

It’s happening at Leicester Tigers Rugby Club-I know a few supporters who are refusing
to renew next season because of swinging price increases.

From the website:
"
Current Season Card holders can now renew to guarantee their seat for every home league game of the 2024/25 season.

Supporters can renew now by visiting their online ticketing account.

From 30th April, supporters can renew in-person and over the phone until the deadline of 5pm on 10th May.

Any supporter wishing to relocate to or from an area can do so during the designated Season Card relocations window, which will be confirmed in due course. Please ensure you renew your existing seat before the renewals deadline."
Thanks. Must learn to read more thoroughly. I just couldn't see it!

It’s actually mental in a time where most people in the country earn about £500 a week football clubs who are owned by billionaires think it’s fine to put prices up around 25% and then they give you 3 weeks to find the best part of a grand.

The games gone and it’s only going to get worse.

I 100% disagree but it's the Sad reality of supply and demand. We will fill the stadium each game, regardless (presuming we stay in the PL)

The most galling thing is the absolutely woeful match day experience and the tone deaf messaging which basically says ' We have to pay for the big man's spaffing on transfers somehow'

We aspire to keep our Season Cards amongst the most affordable in the League. At the same time, it is imperative that the Club continues to grow financially in order to remain competitive, particularly in light of the forthcoming Squad Cost Ratio rules, which will cap spending as a percentage of club revenues.

That's the Cost Ratio rules that haven't been ratified or actually agreed yet, and for a division that we have a good chance of not being in.

Otherwise OK...

"Most affordable in the league" coming from a CEO of a PL football club and CEO of an international architectural firm who is undoubtedly in for a salary upto £500k a year. f*** off Tom, you've absolutely fleeced supporters while looking at it from a position of wealth.

What I don't understand is that why is this is a blanket increase, regardless of the outcome this season?

There should surely be a separate price list for Championship football, as without looking they would surely be the highest (or one of the) prices in the league.

I'd certainly be waiting a few weeks if it was me before shelling out.

Because you'll get 23 games* if we get relegated so technically better value

*match quality may be vastly reduced than advertised

Does anyone have a link to what the prices were last season to save me looking?

Last season, paid £585.
This season, will pay £570.

Result!!! 🤣

For years, Upper Bridgford has been paying a lot more than the comparable view from the Trent End /Lower Bridgford so happy it’s at long last been bought into line.

This is a bit like taking your dog to the vet. The bastards know you'll pay it because you love them.
I feel sorry for those, where it's perhaps their only enjoyment and they were just about managing to scrape the cash together.

Twitter is a fun place at the minute…

All on deaf ears though. The club will be giving zero fucks that just about every season card holder is currently livid and feeling massively shit on

I'm seeing a few national media outlets now reporting on the ticket prices....good. I hope it exposes the greed of the club and it smacks of that guy from Leeds behind it, his background is commercial operations in the the retail sector and this along with the charges to join a waiting list shows a major shift from being treated as supporters to customers.
