Redemption
Chief Eye Roller
I started this thread originally in a fit of pique over a now forgotten issue. It descended into silliness, not least by me, quite quickly.
But I do think that at some point fans will have to think about what kind of football they want to see and will fight for.
As I've written elsewhere on the forum, the independent regulator is ostensibly about the football culture in a very limited sense: does my town have a club, can we defend the shirt colours and logo from modernisation, etc.
But I do think a day of reckoning is needed but I suspect apathy and tribalism will probably prevail and legacy fans will be historic as the price of football focuses on the nouveau fan.
