Unfortunately I think Jose is hanging on for the Portuguese national job, he’s often said he’d like to manage his country before he packs in.

Can you imagine though, Jose Mourinho managing Forest? It would be certainly entertaining that is for sure.
Having watched him manage Roma for the first half of this season I can categorically say it would be terrible. I've never felt so angry and ashamed to support Roma in the 15 years scene I moved there and started following them than the first half of the season. It was sort of survivable if a bit painful and dull for the first two years but I was delighted to see the back of him, couldn't wait to get him gone.

The thought of him managing Forest makes me want to cry, thankfully it'll never happen!

I highly doubt Mourinho would say yes chaps and chapettes so it's just feeding into the banter of other clubs discussing the possibility of this absolute farcical shite even happening anyway. Imagine the laughs we'd have Iif Sheffield United's fan forum were discussing the same possibility?

Sorry to burst the bubble

The comparisons with Megson are quite accurate until you spot that Mourinho has won trophies in most seasons he's been in...

But we'd defo be in for low blocks all the time and not creating much

Dear Carlos,

Please find enclosed a lifetime ban from watching Nottingham Forest. Your lack of ambition is disturbing.

Yours sincerely,

Mr E Marinakis

There's a manager who knows how to bring the game into disrepute with allegations about referees and integrity.

Has anything Mendes has touched at this club been a positive?
Nope.

Glasner, I think, anyway, would have been a good fit at Forest. Giorgios Syrianos has not recommended many „duds“, has he?

But again, the „ambition“ of the ownership - who think they know better than anyone else - seems to trump experience and competence.

I may be completely wrong, but didn't we approach Glasner at some point and he turned us down? I think when Cooper was on the rocks towards the end of last season?

I don‘t know whether he turned the club down, or not - he was of course out of work at the time, after his stint at Eintracht (he left them at the end of 22-23 by the dreaded „mutual consent“, and was replaced by Dino Topmöller, who was on the bench for Die Adler when Forest met them in pre-season, at the Waldstadion).

I have read it on here he „turned Forest down“ but I do not know if there is any „proof“ of that? (Maybe someone knows?)

I think we are better under Nuno but he needs to start getting results, which is something Cooper was excellent at during crunch time.
If Nuno fails to keep us up it will be a managerial disaster.

Strangely, it might have been the right decision. If Glasner wanted input on signings and EM wasn't prepared to budge it saved us from trouble shortly down the road.

Palace were in a false position, with Eze and Olise out they were lower placed than they should have been. Get those two back and any side would look immeasurably better.

Calling it now Nuno walks out of his press conference tomorrow. Because the Press can't help themselves but keep asking him the same question.

But it will be a joint managerial disaster when you think back to home games against Luton, Burnley, Brentford, Everton then away to Palace who were struggling at the time.

It's so frustrating as this season just seems like one big missed opportunity. The amount of games we've been leading or been very much in it, only to just chuck away with a stupid error has been criminal.

And as much as I don't want to point the finger at individuals. You have to think if we'd had Sels in goal from the beginning instead of Turner/Vlachodimos we'd be at least a few points better off.

Nuno says he wants referees to take responsibility on the filed. Watch the referees from now on take responsibility and give penalty after penalty against us!!
