Everton are there for the taking, get into them early and shut them up.

But yes, this is Forest……..
Agreed-go at them.
I think it might be 1-1 which will prolong the agony-it’s too good to be true for Forest
to give everyone concerned with the club a boost after a traumatic week off the pitch.

We need to be quick out of the blocks - no sloppy start.
We must not sit too deep.
We must not give cheap free kicks around our box.

I would play Yates for his commitment, drive and aerial strength.

Play to our strengths on the break and take our chances.

Early start tomorrow to get the coach from WFCG

goodison has been a happy hunting ground for Forest over the years at times, unlike the other stadium across Stanley Park where we have not won since 1969

i remember 1977, a 3.1 victory on our first match back after promotion. also 1978 and a Viv Anderson curling screamer in a cup win, and Stanley getting a brace in a 90's victory ............. heres hoping for tomorrow

Stan played but didn't score the only time we beat them at Goodison whilst he was with us. Only time we've been top of the Premier League I think. Last time I went to Goodison.

Just score more goals than them Forest. Don't even care if we concede 10. Just get 3 points. Everyone doing us favours except ourselves. 2 - 1 famous team.

Frustrating thing is that we have really good players who can knock the ball about. Team - not so much.

Match day and I’m looking forward to moving up the table with this one.
Won’t be easy but if we start on the front foot, score first it will be easier after that,
BUT
No sitting back once we go ahead though, need to be looking for a second.
Would like to see Elanga on the bench at least.

I just hope our lads can keep their heads as this could well turn ugly. We can't afford Red cards at this stage. COYR
