“Lonely points deductions in your area are waiting for you now”‘Independent panel’s hate this one trick’
When I wake up tomorrow, I'm fully expecting to hear it's no points back.
I'm also fully expecting us to give the Chelsea Globe Trotters a pounding at home so it won't matter anyway.
Doesn’t make any difference in terms of this year’s assessment as it’s a 3 year rolling period so the Brennan fee will be included regardless. If the rules weren’t likely to change in the near future then it would though be preferable to include it on this season’s accounts as would stay in the rolling 3 year assessment for the next two years rather than only one more year.So our mitigation is still Brennans fee isnt it? No new evidence allowed, but i'm sure that the promotion bonus and Covid losses were mentioned in our first hearing.
Heres what i'm....dwelling on. Brennans fee, we want that put into 22/23 accounts instead of the current season 23/24. But now that we're nearly there in getting to safety with the bloody points deduction, wouldn't it be preferable to this seasons accounts if the independent panel stick to the 4 point decision which would mean we don't have to sell one of the jewels before June 30th? I know we have to sell someone to make up 30mil or so, and i think thats including Brennans fee.
So if we win a few points back on appeal and they accept that Brennans sale was a mitigation and it should be included in the 22/23 accounts.....have we now to make up the 30 + 47.5m before June 30th?
Anyone able to get on the blower to the twats and tell them to keep their powder dry until say Saturday at 8pm where we can then tell them to stick it if we're safe?
"Everyone is saying the same thing after shock points deduction announcement"‘Independent panel’s hate this one trick’
Said this a week or so back, our case, Everton’s case too IMO, scrap the lot and start over. Application of the rules has become unsustainable. The rules about to change with two of the big six yet to be charged and about to get away with it should be all the evidence the 'independent' panel needs to chuck our case in the bin.
The fairest outcome here is all our points back and the FA need to find a way to compensate those who finished 18th and might have otherwise avoided relegation had the FA not completely f**ked their own competition.

I saw that and didn't click on it as I knew it would be absolute bollocks. And here's the first misleading one of the day. Congratulations to the Post for getting in early with this one.

It wasn't like this when we could tell folk to fukc off properly.Yew right annorl, Blondie.
And a good time to raise a glass to other absent owd forum lads who have decided to leave due to the sheer volume of self-aggrandising, conceited, toxic bitches that can now be found here.
The fairest thing to do is let Leicester off the hook with their own charges as they were the ones relegated in the first place because the EPL didn’t deal with Everton in a timely manner. The rules about to change with two of the big six yet to be charged and about to get away with it should be all the evidence the 'independent' panel needs to chuck our case in the bin.

I'm offended on somebody else's behalf at that comment. It wasn't like this when we could tell folk to fukc off properly.
