I've come back to this because I saw him in the highlights for Sheffield United against Everton and it got me thinking, if the numbers were right, he actually might not be a bad shout.
He's 25 now, he had a couple really good years at Blackburn in the Championship, he's gone to Villareal and to be fair to him, he's not really had much game time there then gone to an absolutely wank Sheffield United team and 6 in 13 isn't a bad return at all.
He can play all along the front-line which would be handy, still got some pace and he's scrappy which comes in especially useful late in games when you get those half chances.
For say like £10-12m, I'd actually take that. He'd need a hair cut like but there would be a certain amount of satisfaction seeing another academy boy out there doing the business for us.
He wouldn't be our main striker in the Premierleague but if horror of horrors we did go down next season, he'd be a very good option in the Championship as well.
