All Red Kit?

I can't lie, I was reminded yesterday how much I like the all red combination and wondered how others felt about it?
Personally would not mind if we kept the all red with white trim at all.

I don't mind it if it's occasionally worn.

We should always try to wear red. Up until a couple of years ago we always played in red when it was possible. Sometimes it meant black shorts, sometimes red shorts, sometimes white socks but if we could we play in red. I thought there was some prem rule about not having different coloured shirts that aren’t part of the registered kit. But in recent months we have worn some random pink shorts and now red shorts. So that shows what I know.

I think you make a good point, but the traditionalist in me still primarily favours red/white/red, which we wore when, as an 8-year-old, I saw my first first-team game at the CG in 1957.

I like the all red...I used to like the red shirt with black shorts away combo too. Reminds me of that championship season when we tore it up under Frank Clark. Great days.
I always used to like that away combo late 80’s where we’d wear a white shirt with red trim, black shorts and red socks. I know some said it was a bit derby but I thought it looked quality.

As a second kit I remember going to see a pre-season game at West Ham where we had white shirts with red shorts. Looked rather good, I thought.

Fot the first kit I prefer the red top, white shorts assembly.

I have to confess to quite liking our Argentina style away kit this season. However we generally play sh*t whatever away kit we wear so they're always somewhat tainted.

As a design it wasn't the best I agree. It will always be a special shirt though because of the players that wore it. Synonymous with the greatest striker I've seen in a Forest shirt.
That was the time that I started really getting into Forest, as an 8 or 9 year old lad. Hell, at the time I didn't even know that black on the shirt was a controversial thing. To me it was just the shirt that Collymore, Bohinen, Cooper etc. wore, so it was the best thing ever. And still is! You never lose those early feelings.

Totally. Slightly older for me, I was 13/14 when we had that amazing team under Frank Clark...but it's still my favourite Forest memory. That starting XI has never been bettered.
