    Default The never-ending quiz!

It's quite simple; a question (of moderate difficulty, on the topics of general knowledge, sport etc) is asked by one member, and the first person to get the answer right posts another question and so on.

So basically, if you post the answer to a question (and it's right) you post the next one!

    I'll start.

What do Shaun Wright-Phillips, John Terry and Rio Ferdinand all have in common?

Correct, Smithy chose not to accept the glory so it's up to you to select the next question and so forth.

    Right then;

Out of the 92 English football teams, which of their grounds is at the highest altitude?

(Can you answer with the team name please, as I'm not too good with ground names )

West Bromwich Albion at 551 feet. Port Vale's ground is at 525 feet and Oldham Athletic at 509 feet.

oh - and then there's Buxton.. the coldest place on earth other than Ripley.

Fair enough, where did you get all that information from?

    (By the way it's correct).

Do I get to ask a question now? Who (by statistical information) is the dirtiest Leeds player?

Gotta go and see Santa. Bye!

    Is that ever or currently?

And by 'dirtiest', do you mean through fouls or red and yellow cards?

Fancy them paying £18m for someone really dirty. That'll do cos otherwise this thread will never move on.* .. and he was born in Peckham afterall.

(But imo it'll always be Rob Hulse, cos I detest his dirtiness with a passion).

Hulse just looks the dirty sort, he'd probably mug his own Granny for 50p.

    S'pose I should ask a question then.

Since 1986, how many times have France qualified for the World Cup?

Once was the answer - didn't qualify in 1990 or 94, were hosts in 98, defending champs in 2002, so 2006 is the first time they have qualified since 1986.

Hey GeorgeD....I know the answer to this one....The answer is Mark Hughes who went to Barcelona in 1986 for £2.8 million.

Can I have a go now?

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

...Wembley, F.A. Charity Shield, August 1979, Forest beat Ipswich by 5-0.

    a) Who was managing Forest?
    b) Who was managing Ipswich?
    c) Who were our scorers?

    Answers on a postcard please...
