    The movement in that top tier when Grabban bagged was something else.

    Here's a deep philiosophical question for debate:
    1 To advertise an illegal matchday stream on the Forum is banned;
    2 Having a VPN and stating the user is in a country other than the one he/she/non-nibary is actually using it is a way of accessing streams available in said "other country" - i.e. accessing content that is illegal in the UK;
    3 Should discussion as to how to obtain a VPN be banned on the Forum?

    Before it is, which VPN's do others recommend?

    Happy to advise offsite if you want Captain - PM me. But for general info for any one who is interested the Opera browser has free VPN functionality - its not strictly speaking a true VPN like you might pay for from a provider like Nord for instance but it works along the same lines. See details here https://www.opera.com/features/free-vpn.

    I can't see that letting anyone know about the options and functionality available in very popular browsers would be an issue for the mods but feel free to erase this post if you deem it as beyond the pale.

    I will add that I neither endorse no condone any activity that could be regarded as illegal.

    VPN's aren't illegal. What you choose to do after setting one up/using one is your choice, much like connecting to the internet in the first place isn't illegal either.

    30/09/2021: It's only 8 points to the play-offs. Doesn't matter if we're 20th having lost three times as many games as we've won so far. I fancy us now that Hughton's gone.

    Absolutely - if you work remotely chances are you'll use a business VPN to connect into your company systems, they're just a tool.

    That said I respect the Mods decision to be ultra cautious when they are mentioned/discussed.

    I use a VPN to connect to business systems and for banking, both personal and business. They are just an extra layer of security, what people choose to use them for is their prerogative as mentioned above, just like the internet itself.

    For what it's worth I use a brilliant one which only costs me £30 a year and it doesn't have the same issues that the likes of IP-Vanish have with overloaded servers from when they in their wisdom decided to give out unlimited connections for a subscription, which then ended up being resold. Idiots.

    The Opera web browser offers a free in-built VPN

    It's very limited and you'll get many more features from a specialist VPN provider but for basic stuff it'll do the job

    A brilliant angle of things here. Just look at that team spirit when we scored. All the subs in amongst it Silva and Cafu absolutely loving it.

    I think it's Cook walking away from the excited huddle of players tapping his forehead and reminding the players not to let it slip in the final minutes. Keep thinking.

    I'm a cynical old git, i know, but Carvalho and Silva's joining in might be a tad false.
    Carvalho knows he has no chnace of making it into the regular matchday squad, and as for silva... he had a couple orf games (one as sub, one as a starter), but has dropped out of contention again.

    That's the one I paid $9.99 for on Saturday (1 month's access). I will be cancelling the subscription in aprox 3 weeks time.

    Listened on Radio Nottingham and the second half sounded like electric cup-tie stuff, with Forest nearly scoring several goals.

    Watched it later on Forest Player full replay - and there was no audio. No crowd noise, nothing. Weird.

    This detached view revealed that we weren't peppering their goal for 45 minutes, though we did throw two CBs forwards now and then. More like a couple of spells of intense pressure where we somehow failed to score (due to good defending rather than wayward finishing).

    Davis looked every bit as good as he sounded. He softened the defence up by running at them; pace, power and skill. Grabban did a lot of work off the ball and was still fresh enough for the fox in the box winner.

    Even as a silent movie it was a good watch.
