Also worth a look, 30 pages from fans who have been watching him play regularly discussing his progress. Some promising stuff

I bloody won't be. That 'USA, USA' thing made my toes curl. I don't hear any chants of 'Engerlaaand' when any of our English players do anything of note, and nor should there be.

The interview with Richmond in writing.

New signing Richie Laryea says Nottingham Forest’s Premier League ambitions have been clearly laid out to him, having put pen to paper
“From the conversations I’ve had with my representation, and they’ve had with the organisation here, they want to make a push,” Laryea told TSN Soccer.

“This is a massive club. They want to be back in the Premier League, so they want to bring in guys who will help them get to the Premier League.

“It’s a mindset where everyone here has to contribute.

“Like anywhere else, you have to come in and prove why you deserve to play. It’s that type of environment here.

    “They’ve been good with me.

“It showed me how valued, and how liked, I am here by the organisation, with the efforts they made to get me here.

“It’s been open dialogue where it’s been, ’we’ve got to do whatever possible to win, and we need you to do well, as well, for us to win games, and for everyone else to do well for us to make a push to the Premier League.

“It’s been pretty standard, but them telling me that, with all things considered and what they’ve seen from me, they want me to have a role here to help them get back up.”

He's noticeably very well spoken for a footballer - is that due to the media demands of sports stars being greater in America?

Those crazy MLS dudes have a winter break so Laryea hasn't played a first class match since mid November. I'm sure he'll be a bit rusty but as usual, in Coops we trust. Millwall away smells more Colback territory anyway so I'd look at some minutes off the bench this weekend for the new fella before he gets to destroy Derby.

The icing on the cake is that manager and players talking passionately about how they want to be here, while at the other end of the A52 it looks like player are doing everything to escape.

Only just got his approval to play in the UK apparently before the derby game and hasn’t played in a while, needs to get up to speed.

Game today, he's most likely starting as he was in the previous round.

Canada are doing really well these days. I think this is the highest they've ever been ranked by Fifa.

They've got quite a few good players. Beaten Mexico and Costa Rica recently who are no mugs. Top of their league at the moment.

Alphonso Davies is their star player but Jonathan David and Cyle Larin score goals for fun too.

    Come on Canada.

I'd love them to make the World Cup.

They've only made it once. In 1986. And lost every game.

Canada top the CONCACAF table and top 3 makes the World Cup. 4th sees a play off.

Massive match against The USA this weekend.
