the outcome of this game will have nothing to do with if he stays or goes.

That could be a good sign - in the squad doesn't mean in the starting eleven but does mean he should be considered as over the injury - putting him in the squad sounds more like posturing to get more money

I read somewhere that Rowett was saying words to the effect of the risk of losing Jed for free in the summer will be somewhat mitigated by having him for the push for the playoffs.

Their fans on Twitter are demanding the team remain unchanged.
They view him now as gone - and want the dough in order to strengthen.
    Seemingly no sympathy whatsoever.

And that’s an easy comment for a manager, who doesn’t have to balance the books to make.

    "Do you think you underperformed?"
"No, if you'd not sold Wallace in summer we might have finished top six"

    Easy excuse too.

30/09/2021: It's only 8 points to the play-offs. Doesn't matter if we're 20th having lost three times as many games as we've won so far. I fancy us now that Hughton's gone.

Not in the squad. Still injured, or Millwall protecting their asset just before its sale?

I seem to recall reading something that he was declared fit to play earlier in the week.

Millwall protecting their asset and avoiding the awkward situation of the player lining up against the club he is joining in a few days time.

Imagine if Wallace scored or provided an assist against us today, joined us, and then we missed out on the playoffs by one point.

I don't think you need to be #ITK (and I certainly am not) to make an educated guess that this is in the advanced stages and likely to be announced early next week.

Whether it be to Forest or elsewhere, I get the feeling Wallace will be leaving Millwall soon too.

Be surprised if he goes abroad and, having recently turned down a job in Middlesborough because it's a sh1t tip, I can't really seem him wanting to go there over Nottingham - but I may be wrong?

I couldn't see an obligatory YouTube clip of this lad so I thought I'd post one. Apologies if it's already been posted.

    Jed Wallace, Zinks, Johnson.

Lolley and Mighten to come back. Xande Silva on the fringes.

I think Cooper wants another wide man too as we've been after Paul Mukairu and Josh Bowler for the whole January transfer window so far.

    Wow. He just oozes class.

With this much tekkers plus his goals and assists ratio I'm gobsmacked that he's not had a bash at the Prem yet.

You have to consider he is playing under Rowett as well who is always defence first and Harris before him who isn't disimilar. Who knows what he could do in a side with more freedom going forward like ours.

With Cooper's ethos of allowing players the freedom to go and express themselves it feels like a match made in heaven. This is the signing I really want to happen. As mentioned above I'm surprised that no premier league team has taken a punt on him especially for the relatively low fee.

Yes, if he can do it for a Harris/Rowett team then I'd be really excited to see what he could do in this side. Of all the players we've been linked with, this is the one I want to happen most.

They seem to use Wallace as Lamouchi used Lolley.

As a tricky running outlet on the break. Pick up the ball and drive at teams and hope to get a crucial goal. Then back to defending solidly.

I imagine players like Wallace look at managers like cooper and want to play for them.

He reminds me a bit of Jack Grealish.
If he is half as good we will have a player all right if we get him.

The last time I was this excited about us signing a player at this level it was Lewis Grabban. Wallace is proven at this level and he is class. As stated above Iím shocked a Premier League team hasnít taken a punt on him.

    Please can this happen...

Exiting if he does sign. Hoping he is nearing fitness as then he can his supposed fitness test. Just hope something doesn’t set him back with fitness as then we’d be in a difficult position whether to take gamble of signing an unfit player.
