A Matchday Thread?! Must be the end of the international window. Thank Clough for that.

Interesting game, this. I reckon Blackpool are going to sit in and stifle us. I’ll be very interested to see what Coops does tactically here - passers or pressers?

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Haven't felt this optimistic since the start of the SL tenure, something seems to be clicking already with SC.

3-1 with a brace from DJ Zinc

Playing for the David Vaughan trophy. Which looks a bit like the Holy Grail, only older. It was the cup used to baptise young David during the Roman occupation of Cambria.

After he left Forest didn't Ishmael Miller give rides to the kids on Blackpool beach?

I'll go with that exact scoreline.

I think anybody can score in this team. Figs,Worral,Grabban.

Probably be 15th after this weekend, with plenty of teams looking over their shoulder and also checking the fixture lists to see when they play us.

Forest certainly need to sort out their appalling home form(2 points from the last 8 Championship games at the
City Ground),also, the home faithful have not seen a league win in person since February 2020.
It's worth noting Blackpool are a fellow 'form team'.
However, given the current optimism swirling around the banks of the Trent,I'm hoping that Forest might
come out on top in this one.

I don't think Blackpool have it in them to park the bus, they've yet to keep a clean sheet on the road this season. They are also in good form so I'm expecting goals.

    4-2 with a Colback hattrick.

Need to score 3 goals again.

I’m really enjoying the change of title from “ Forest 0 “ to “ Forest 3”.

Looks like Blackpool's Captain/Keeper is crocked. All their backup keepers have no league experience so hope we look to exploit that with many balls into the box.

An end to end 6-6 draw in which Steve Cooper employs rush goalie just to troll Hughton one more time.
