It's nice to have a matchday thread starter get on a winning streak for once.

2-1 Forest - BJ and Lolley to keep Freddie in the throne.

Nice sentiment but one win does not constitute a winning streak. I'm not sure how many would though, 3 or 4 maybe.

Suspect the atmosphere - at least at the start of the game - will be dramatically different to the Boro’ game.

It's a one-game winning streak. There is no official lowest number before something can be considered a streak.

Steven Reid is the most successful Forest manager this season with a 100% win percentage.

None of this punning helps our superposition in the table.

Points deduction being mooted for Reading - for breaching FFP. If that and Derby's go through, we could be off the bottom of the table very quickly. The Steve Cooper effect.

If I stood outside my house naked I'd just be exposing myself but if I then ran I'd be streaking. One game is the equivalent of standing naked.

Another 2-0 win. Forum starts to discuss whether top six is still a possibility.

30/09/2021: It's only 8 points to the play-offs. Doesn't matter if we're 20th having lost three times as many games as we've won so far. I fancy us now that Hughton's gone.

Yep I'll go two nil. Grabban and Johnson.
This time next week we'll be midtable, looking up instead of down.

I'm not offended on my behalf or anyones elses...his 'shit beard' and it's length is directly tied to elements of wisdom and courage in his religion, I think its just a bit sad that
blokes go round chatting about someones shit beard, when there is a certain beauty in the discipline of doing such a thing in the name of something you believe in.
maybe look at the bigger context of it? but yep all good, hehehe look at the funny man with pubes stuck to his face.

You sound ignorant and I'm pretty sure you're not.

I think Grabban is a unique outlier and should be championed.I'm proud of his magnificent shitty beard and that we have him on our books.

In Islam, the act of growing a beard, no matter how „shit“ it might look, is a testament to the wearers‘ Islamic faith.

We have had incidents on this very forum before (unfortunately) of posters making generic anti-Muslim remarks, and some aimed specifically at Lewis Grabban.

You will understand that as moderators, any such offensive content is rather frowned upon and does not reflect well on us as a community. And where we see it, we will deal with by removing the offending posts.

That said, there are very few incidents like this (which is a good thing).

And this would be the same for similar content directed at Christians, Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Rastafarians, Satanists, or any other religion that I may have forgotten, even Pastafarians (may we all be touched by his noodly appendage).

The original post was reported by other users as well, and we looked at it and it’s either 1) an incredibly crass attempt at a poorly-executed joke, or 2) specifically offensive at Lewsís Grabban because of his faith.

I will leave it for public opinion to decide, but for me, I hope it’s 1).

(Oh and You’re not allowed to wear a hat to play football in, either. That’s why Petr Cech had to get permission to wear the rugby-style headguard after his skull fracture).

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Good to see the Satanists get a mention. That's twice in a week now with Robbie's post

I have to say Alf, with the recent legal events in Texas, driven mainly by the conservative Christian community, it is the Church of Satan that has come out of that debacle looking much the more inclusive organisation.

(And, there’s a sentence you never thought you’d see).

Anyway, I’m off to sacrifice a goat to the Dark Lord as an offering for three points at the weekend.
