Some of their posters definitely have an impressive grasp of Forest's history - effectively, all of our history pre-Clough was spent outside of the top-flight, and haven't won anything since 1980.

    Thanks for posting Calvin
I’m more proud of the support we take in numbers to shit holes like Huddersfield when we have one point out of 21.
They’d be coming on a skateboard if it was reversed.

    Thanks Calvin.

A real wide range of comments.

Their support thought it was going to be easy -

As I waited at the turnstiles four of them told me so!!

From the club that played with three stars on their shirt for league titles they won in the 1920's...

The German way of doing it is that you get a star for Five League titles, not a star for each one, which looks neater.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I'm just taking the Herbert Chapman era away from Huddersfield to see how successful they are without it like one of their nobs said about Forest & Clough

While I'm at it I'm taking away the Revie era from Leeds, the Clough era from Derby, the Abramovich era from Chelsea & the Nicholson years from Spurs

I was even gonna take the Jimmy Squirral years from Notts

One of the biggest myths going is that Forest weren't a successful club until Clough came along

Twice FA Cup winners and Football League runners-up before Brian came along

Some pretty horrible comments from their fans.
I honestly don't think Forest fans are entitled or constantly looking backwards. We are a well supported club and our fans are knowledgable. I think people that support clubs like Huddersfield resent the history and the success...

Forest were a damn good side under Johnny Carey in the 1960s too.

That was just before my time rockabilly but I am reliably informed by my Dad that that team of the 60s under Carey was immense and deserved to achieve more than it did

    Thanks Calvin good read.

What is it with these comments about scabs, I suspect most of them weren't even born, when all that was going on.
